Chapter 20: "I Am Voimus"
POV Loiko Mada As the sensei of these warriors, I pay attention to small things as much as possible, and out of all these very promising students, Jdon seemed to be the only one who seemed to be out of place, stressed maybe... perhaps, or maybe just not as confident as all my other students. I am Voimus, God of machines, and I know of Oradashi. If any of my students could fall victim to the lies of that disgustingly evil being, it would, sadly, be Jdon. Me and Jdon were the group that left right before the last group to leave the woods and begin towards the two Vesh bases that I'd assigned to us. "You know, T'nada is doing pretty well nowadays; she actually owns her own restaurant like her dad; only hers is a bit more luxurious," I say to him as we run through the night, making sure to match his pace to stay close to him, because although we were only about twenty minutes away from the bases, I could get there a lot faster than him if I wanted. "How do you know T'nada?" he asks me. "You mustn't be fooled by my appearance or lack of markings; I am still a God," I say. "And what are you the God of, sensei?" he asks. "My true name is Voimus; I am the God of machines," I say. I could feel him looking at me with a side eye. "So, what happened to your markings?" he asks me. "They're not hard to keep hidden, Jdon," I say.
