My Clairvoyant

Part 7

Lorraine POV:

As I turn the flashlight on the light stretches into what looks like a narrow crawl space framed in wood. Then I slip half of my body in keeping the light shining ahead.

But I can only make out that the crawl space seems to be open up. I said, "looks like there is some kind of room." Then the flashlight suddenly dies, casting myself into total darkness. And I started to hit it a couple of times and it beams to shine again.

Then I point the light down the crawl-space ahead. And a young boy and girl, full of angst and panic, scramble towards me, passing right through my body. And it's the two that I saw in the photograph earlier.

And I became startled and I felt Lilith put her hand on my shoulder making sure I'm okay and I nodded my head and we both continued crawling into the crawl space.

And I slowly stand while Lilith stay kneeling behind me then we see that cobwebs is everywhere. And it falls upon a makeshift bed with an old, dust covered blanket, which has a slinky toy on it. Then I pick it up and see's a wooden box next to the bed with other toys in it.

Then I let the light wander, and discovers that every wall is completely covered with the same phrase scribbled with crayon. And I move closer. And it says; 'I'm sorry mommy. I'm sorry mommy. I'm sorry mommy. I'm sorry mommy.'

I stop because I sense something, and so I moved the light off the wall and angle it to my forearm and I see that it's covered in goosebumps. Then for a second my heart skips a beat then I see something else.

But I felt movement and it's Lilith getting out of the crawl space I guess it's hurting her from kneeling for to long.

After Lilith gets out the light cascading past my forearm down to the floor and it illuminates Bathsheba's dirty, crusted bare feet, straddling her own from behind. But before i could turn around, I was agrressively shoved into the wall. the movement jares the flashlight and slinky from my grasp and drop onto the floor.

Lilith pov:

I react to the noise and i imediately heads back into the crawl space I said, "Lorraine."

And she said, "I'm alright. It was her, Lilith." And she continued, "I've never felt anything so dark. We have to get her out of this house."

Then myself and Lorraine come out of the closet. And then I see Ed look at Jerome and he said, "grab the cameras. I want to see what we got."

I'm sitting in the living room with Lorraine making sure she is okay and so we both face the monitors and one monitor is revealing the master bedroom, where Roger is cuddling Andrea on the bed, whose sound asleep. Carolyn is next to him doing the same with Cindy, whose also sound asleep.

Lorraine POV:

A loud thud pulls my attention outside and I see something flopping on to the ground by the barn, and dust is rising as if there is some sort of struggle.

And so I look at Lilith and I said, "hun, can you keep your eyes on the monitors for me. I'll be right back." And she nods her head.

Then I leave the room. And I move towards where the flopping movement. And it seems to be slowing with each step I take.As I get there the flopping stops.
