Part 13

Lorraine POV:

Then Father O'Malley said, "please, sit down." But Ed angrily said, "I don't want to sit down. I want an exorcismed performed. Today. What is the problem here?"

Father O'Malley said, "church is refusing to grant one." Then Father Jordon added, "the family aren't parishioners, and the children haven't been Baptized." Then Lilith said, "so what?"

Father O'Malley said, "believe me, we've tried, but the Vatican is worried about the public opinion if they were to step outside the boundaries of the church." Ed said, "tell the Vatican no one gives a shit. This needs to be stopped!Now!"

Then Father O'Malley said, "please understand, my hands are tied on this. I feel horrible about this." Lilith said, "so what you not going to help my family. They are scared shitless I got hurt protecting my sister. And you're gonna sit there and do nothing. Fucking assholes."

Ed said, "we're just going to find someone else." Father Jordon said, "you're not going to find anyone else to go against the church, Ed." Lilith said, "I don't fucking believe this shit."

As we about to leave I see Father Jordon come up to us and he said, "you've seen it done dozens of times." Ed said, "that doesn't make us qualified." Father Jordon added, "but your strength and knowlegde of the scriptures can." I said, "we've seen it go horribly wrong, even with a priest."

Father Jordon said, "I believe our Lord recognizes faith far more than he does training and education, or politics for the matter. This family doesn't have a choice, but you do, and you have God on your side. If you want to help them, then help them."

Ed looks at me and thoughts are whirled with limited options.

Lilith POV:

Right now we are standing and Ed is holding a phone to his ear. Lorraine is standing in front of me with my arms wrapped around her while she plays with the rings on my fingers.

And I hear Ed say hello a couple of times and then I heard dads voice say that mom tried to kill him, then Ed asked about the girls location and dad said that she has Cindy and April as well.

Then we all rush in the car and head to my parents house and we are also behind Bruces police cruiser and we turn into my parents drive way. And we got out and everyone tried to open the front door but it wouldn't budge so I said, "move I'll open the door." And with that I walked to the door and I kicked the door open and then we enter the house.

We hear screaming coming from the basement and so we all raced there and we see that dad has a grip on the scissors trying to get it out of moms hand and she's trying to kill April. I see that Cindy is a short distant away, scared and I can smell the fear coming from her.

Dad said, "Carolyn, let her go." Then mom kicked dad so hard with a brute force, and he flies backwards across the basement and Ed and Bruce move in to grab mom. Then Lorraine said, "grab her arms." And I help grab her arms.

I see Ed extracting the vial of Holy water. And I see that he dips a finger in it. Then crosses himself. And Ed came up to mom and he placed his finger on my mothers forehead, making the sign of cross.

Ed said, "ecce crucem donine, fugite parties adversa!" And then I hear Lorraine say the Lords prayer as well. Ed said, "I beg you Lord, through the intercession and help of the arch angels Michael, Rafael and Grabiel, for the deliverance of our sister who is enslaved by the evil one."
