𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐆𝐎𝐍𝐄 since the trip to Verona. Jenny was a successful design student at the University College London, while Ali studied Romance Languages. Yes, she had chosen a different career path, and this was because she was so inspired by Claire and Lorenzo. Yes, she enjoyed writing, but she began to think, what if it wasn't right for her?
After spending the afternoon at the arcade with a few friends from college, and shopping at Bloomingdale's, Ali walked into her Park Avenue apartment, her purse on her shoulder and her shopping bag in her hand, while her father sat on the couch in the living room reading the newspaper.
"Hi dad." Ali smiled as she walked into the living room and sat beside her father on the couch.
"Hi sweetheart. How was the arcade and Bloomingdale's?" Mr. Hall asked as he placed the newspaper on the coffee table.
"It was okay." Ali said
"You didn't have a good time with Nancy and Laurie?" Mr. Hall asked as he stood up and walked to the kitchen to grab the two of them a glass of ice tea.
"I mean, I did, but it was just different." Ali said as Mr. Hall walked back into the living room with their beverages. "Thanks."
"I know sweetheart. You could have stayed in London with Jenny." Mr. Hall suggested as he sipped his iced tea
"Dad, I can't leave you here all alone." Ali said as she sipped her iced tea

"So this is about Nate?" Mr. Hall asked
Ali nodded then wiped her tears. "I'm starting to wonder if I made a mistake. I love him, daddy."
"I know. The greatest love story a person can experience is their own." Mr. Hall said
Later that night, Ali sat in her room studying while Elvis Presley's Kentucky Rain played. As she finished writing something in her notebook, a soft knock resonated on her bedroom door
"Come in." Ali called as she closed her book and looked at the door
"Hey hon, I was looking through the mail and this letter came for you." Mr. Hall said
"Thanks dad." Ali smiled as her father gave her kiss on the forehead then walked out of her bedroom and back into the living room.
Ali opened the envelope to reveal a wedding invitation. Not just any wedding invitation. It was Claire and Lorenzo's wedding invitation. Walking out into the livingroom, she sat down on the couch beside her father. "What is it?" Mr. Hall asked
