𝐀𝐋𝐈 was contemplating on whether she should go back to the recessional or just stay put, when she heard a familiar voice, she knew all too well. "Ali!" Nate called
Ali walked to the edge of the balcony, she smiled softly at him. Nate looked up, and smiled at her, but he shook his head."Of course! A balcony." Nate said
"Well." Ali scoffed
"What are you doing up there?" Nate questioned
"I'm gonna go." Ali said
"Why?" Nate questioned.
"Because this is really painful." Ali said gently. "I should have realized sooner, but I didn't, or I guess maybe I couldn't, but...I came back hoping that...never mind it's too late, it's clearly too late...and it really doesn't matter anymore, because...honestly, I love you."
Nate looked at her. A big grin on his face. His heart bursting with affection. He's loved her since the moment he saw her. Even if they did get off to a rough start. Who wouldn't love her?
"I can't believe I just said that." Ali said as she choked out a laugh. "But I do, I love you. It doesn't...I mean it shouldn't matter to you because you're here with Patricia.
"Patricia?" Nate was confused
"You should be back with her right now." Ali said tearfully
"Patricia is my cousin. She's mine and Kyle's cousin." Nate explained
Ali furrowed her eyebrows as she tried to process this information. "How is that...legal?" she asked
"No...Jordan, oh, no, no, no, let me explain!" Nate said as he ran to the side of the balcony, and she immediately followed. "Ali, I'm so stupid. There's two Patricia's. There's my cousin, who's here, and the one who I've completely forgotten about! More importantly, there's only one Ali." Nate said, as his emerald greens sparkled. "Now can you please come down, or-you know what." Nate began shaking off his suit coat, and let it drop onto the ground before grabbing one of the large vines that crept up the side of the balcony.
"Wait, Nate, stop what are you doing?" Ali asked as she leaned over the edge of the balcony to see him climbing up the balcony. He wasn't struggling at all. "Nate, what are you doing?"
"Listen to me. Listen to me very, very carefully." Nate said as he stopped less than a foot away from the blonde. He was so close, she could reach out and touch him if she wanted to. "I live in London, a gorgeous, vibrant, historic city that I happen to love living in. You live in New York, which is highly overrated."
"Pardon me?" Ali asked as she tilted her head with a slight smile on her face
"But since the Atlantic ocean is a bit wide to cross every day, swimming, boating, or flying, I suggest we flip for it." Nate said
"What are you saying?" Ali asked with a smile as she leaned on the balcony
"And if those terms were unacceptable, then leaving London will be a pleasure. As long as you're waiting for me on the other side. Because the truth is, Ali Hall, I am madly, deeply, truly, and passionately in love with you." Nate confessed with a smile, his eyes twinkling
"You are?" Ali smiled
"I am." Nate nodded, his eyes were sincere
"Are you going to kiss me?" Ali asked
Nate reached up to grab a branch, to pull himself up, but the branch broke, and he fell to the ground, thankfully it was not that far of a fall.
"Oh my God! Nate." Ali shouted
Ali ran down the stairs and rushed over to where Nate was. He lifted his head when he saw her, and she knelt beside him, placing one hand under his neck, and the other on his chest.
"I can't believe I just did that." He said with a chuckle
"Are you okay?" Ali asked, trying to hide her small smile
"Please tell me no one saw that." Nate said
Ali glanced up to see Claire, Lorenzo, Jenny, and Kyle approaching them, and very confused. "Nobody saw it."
"Good." Nate said as he reach up to touch her cheek and Ali melted into the touch. "That's good."
"Can you move?" Ali asked. Nate looked into her eyes with an intensity that she'd never seen before.
"Only my lips." Nate said softly
The two of them shared the sweetest kiss. When their lips touched, time stood still. Ali knew she had found a love like Juliet's. She had found her Romeo. She had found her love story. One for the ages.
"I love you, Ali Hall." Nate said as he placed his forehead against her's. "More than you'll ever know."
"I love you too, Nate Jones." Jordan smiled. "More than you'll ever know."
