Chapter 18

               * Amberlie's POV *

" How did your date with Oliver go? Did you guys kiss" I blurted. I had met her at the gate and together we had strolled into the girls dorm.

" Kiss?" Drina asked with grimace. " Well he's something else. He thought I was into girls. Just because I dress like boys" she said in an incredulous voice.

I giggled.

" You see, that guy's getting on my nerve" Drina said with a slight frown.

" We were supposed to talk 'bout ourselves but he was so curious 'bout my brother. That almost turned me off and I simply came online to talk to you" She told me.

hm.weird.  I looked ahead and sighted Justin running hurriedly into their dorm.

" Hey Justin wait!" I called and we both took off to meet him.

" Is everything  okay"  I asked

" Louis and Oliver are fighting. Jett texted me.

  Fighting?

We hurried off to their dorm and we were surprised when we saw that it was actually true. All the boys in their dorm has woken up and they were all at the door step looking at Louis and Oliver who had stopped fighting and were glaring at each other.

" What happened?" Justin turned to look at Jett who also had a cut a on his lower lip. I guess they'd hit him while he tried separating them from fighting.

" I woke up to them arguing and yelling at each other " Jett replied with a frown.

" I thought you both never fight !" Bobby said out of nowhere and Louis and Oliver turned to glare at him.

" Louis-" I moved closer to him but he shuffled back away from me.

" It's okay. I'm fine " He said whipping off blood from his lip with his jacket.

" Oliver what got into you?" I whispered turning to him. He didn't answer me. None of them did. They walked out.

" What a mess" Bobby scoffed as he left with the others. I, Drina and, Justin were left alone with Jett.

" Tell us what happened" we all said at a time.

                   * Jett's POV *
  
  " Those two are in real trouble "  I blurted at what I was thinking. They fought and injured each other and their bloods!

" Trouble" Justin said eyes demanding for explanations.  I stared across all my friends and they looked worried. Not just mere curiosity. Somehow I didn't know if to tell them but at same time, I knew I couldn't keep everything I knew to my self.

" Amberlie could you please close the door?" I asked and she did. I sat on the bed and they did too close to me.
I sighed.

" Have you guys noticed how weird Louis had been acting lately?" I asked.

" That one's always weird" Drina said.

" Come on I'm serious" I said at her. She scoffed.

" Yea, I did notice" Amberlie said quietly.

" Like he never wants to leave school" Justin added and I nodded.

" Hey!" Drina cuts in " why I'm I the only one not noticing anything?" She said pouting.

   Oh Drina be serious for once!
 
   We ignored her.

" He's going through a lot at home, guys. His Stepmom forces him to have s*x with her and now, he's got HIV from her " Their eyes budged.

" Are you serious? You mean, Oliver's mom " Drina said with shock.

" Am I supposed to be joking?" I said to her and looked over at Amberlie because I knew she liked him. Her hands were clasped covering her mouth which I knew was opened in shock.

" Didn't he tell anyone?" Amberlie asked with a voice.

" He was afraid that no one would believe him. He was twelve when she..." I trailed off

Well he should had told me. I was his best friend. I know everyone thinks that I'm a blabber mouth but I wouldn't be stupid to the extent of telling the wrong people about it. Oliver wasn't the right person to tell. He was her son for Pete's sake!

"..f**ked him?" Drina cut in and Justin gave her a dirty look.

" Are you crazy? This ain't a f**kin' joke sis " He said and she rolled her eyes not saying anymore.

" They got into a fight when Oliver wanted to tell me"  I said.

" Should we help tell his relatives?" Amberlie asked.

" He has none" I said.

" What 'bout Pinkert? I thought she was their cousin" She said looking at all of us for answer.

" Her parents are dead. She stays with her aunt who isn't related to them. The only relative he had was Pinkerton and her mom. Mr. Gargano's sister"  I explained then sighed as we were all quiet staring at each other.

" Did you say Louis is infected with HIV?" Justin asked staring at me with wide eyes. I nodded sadly. " Yes"

Their heads snapped to me. I quirked my eyebrows confusedly as to why they were staring at me like that.

" Jett your lip is bleeding!" Drina pointed.

  My eyes tore open.

  " What?!"
