But Suhyun was already mixing colors, her laughter ringing out as she splashed some paint onto her poster board. In her enthusiasm, she accidentally elbowed Minho, knocking his carefully constructed model off the table.

"You're sorry? You think this is a joke? This was my chance to impress everyone! You can't do anything without messing it up-" Minho snapped but was interrupted by the teacher.

As Miss Bae approached, the laughter subsided, and she took in the scene.

"What happened here?"

She looked at the teacher, her eyes filled with tears. "I tripped and... um, it was an accident!"

"An accident that ruined my project! Thanks a lot, Suhyun!"

Their classmates exchanged glances, whispering and giggling, and Suhyun felt her face heat up with embarrassment.

"Alright, everyone, let's focus on the presentations. Remember, teamwork is key." Miss Bae turned to the boy. "I know this is hard, Minho. But I'm sure you'll get through this," Miss Bae said with a reassuring smile. "I'm so sorry that this happened to you."

As the presentations began, Suhyun shot Minho an apologetic look, but he turned away, still stewing in frustration.

"I'll help you fix it later. We can make it work together again." she suggested, her voice low as she tried controlling her tears.

"No, thanks. I'll just mess it up more if you're involved."

"Minho, I really didn't mean for this to happen. I just wanted us to have fun." She stepped closer to him.

"Yeah, Do I look like I need help? You are just so careless you really can't do anything without messing up! I hate you!"

The girl stepped back and broke in tears, "...You are right, I can't do anything without messing up...But I'm sorry I really didn't mean to." She wiped her cheek with her hands and walked off.

Minho stood there feeling a mixture of guilt and regret as he saw the girl walking away but he quickly brushed it off

Their conversation lingered in the air, marking the start of a rivalry that would last for years.
