It was the weekend, and Minho found himself pacing around his spacious living room, trying to mentally prepare for the chaos that was about to unfold in his otherwise peaceful home. He had initially refused the idea of hosting a movie night, but after relentless persuasion from Felix and Hyerin, he reluctantly agreed, convinced it would be a disaster.

"Why do I let them talk me into these things?" Minho muttered to himself, running a hand through his hair. He shot a quick glance at the clock—half-past five. "They're late."

Just then, the doorbell rang, making him jump slightly. He opened the door to find Suhyun, Seungmin, Felix, and Hyunjin standing there, all smiles and excitement.

"Hey, Minho!" Suhyun greeted cheerfully, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "We brought snacks!"

"More like Suhyun brought snacks," Seungmin chimed in, rolling his eyes as he held up a box of chips. "Felix just brought his pretty face."

"Hey! My face is a snack too!" Felix replied, feigning offense as he nudged Seungmin. Hyunjin simply chuckled, trying to hide his nervousness as he stood beside Hwa-young, who was looking around with curiosity.

"Come in, I guess," Minho said, stepping aside to let them in. He watched as they unloaded bags of chips, candy, and other snacks onto the coffee table. "Just... don't break anything, alright?"

"Minho, we're professionals at this!" Suhyun replied with a grin, already plopping herself down on the couch. "Right, guys?"

The others filed in after her, and the chaos began to build. Before long, Hwa-young, Hyerin, Beomgyu, and Jeongin arrived.

"Hey, I'm here! The only person that matters!" Beomgyu declared dramatically as he walked in, earning eye rolls from the group.

"Yeah, you're the only one talking, Beomgyu," Jeongin retorted, smirking at his best friend.

Hyerin shot Jeongin a playful glare. "Can you not ruin my evening, please?"

"Why? It's the highlight of my day," he replied, his innocent appearance belying his savage tongue.

Just then, the door swung open again, revealing Chan, Changbin, Jisung, and Soyeon. Chan looked exhausted, as if he'd just completed a marathon.

"Why do I even hang out with you guys?" he sighed, shaking his head while Seungmin called out, "Old man!" earning a chuckle from the group.

"Just sit down and let the fun begin!" Soyeon said, taking a seat beside Jisung.

Once everyone settled in, Minho took a deep breath. "So, I was thinking—how about a horror movie?"

Instantly, a chorus of protests erupted from Felix, Hyerin, Hyunjin, and Changbin. "No way!" they shouted in unison.

"Come on! It'll be fun!" Minho insisted, a smirk creeping onto his face.

"Nope, I'm not dying tonight," Felix said, shaking his head vehemently. Hyerin scooted closer to Seungmin, who rolled his eyes but secretly enjoyed being her barrier.

"Fine, what do you guys want to watch then?" Minho asked, crossing his arms.

"Anything but horror!" Changbin pleaded, his voice rising in panic.

They settled on a comedy after much deliberation. As the movie played, Felix and Changbin flinched at every jump scare, earning chuckles from the others. Hyunjin, who had managed to sit next to Hwa-young, found himself unintentionally snuggling closer to her with each scare.

"Seriously, it's just a movie!" Minho laughed, enjoying the chaos around him. He noticed Suhyun's occasional glances in his direction, a hint of color painting her cheeks whenever their eyes met.

After a few hours of laughter and noise, they finally ran out of snacks. "What kind of movie night is this?" Hyerin complained, glancing at the empty bowls. "I can't believe I have to go to CVS now!"

"Rock, paper, scissors!" Jeongin suggested, and the group enthusiastically agreed. The stakes were set: the loser had to make the snack run.

They gathered in a circle, each of them dramatically throwing their hands out. After a tense few rounds, Hyerin burst out, "I'm so winning this!" only to lose with a weak "paper" against Soyeon's "scissors."

"Looks like you're going to CVS, Hyerin!" Felix teased, clapping his hands.

"Ugh, this is the worst!" she groaned, but Seungmin surprised everyone by standing up. "I'll go with you."

Everyone turned to look at him, eyebrows raised in disbelief. "You two?" Changbin asked incredulously, stifling laughter.

"Don't act surprised. I can go without bickering for five minutes," Seungmin shot back, crossing his arms defiantly.

"Good luck," Minho called after them, a hint of mischief in his voice. As the door closed behind Hyerin and Seungmin, the room erupted into chatter about their unusual pair.

"Why did I agree to this?" Hyerin muttered as they walked down the aisles.

"Because you lost!" Seungmin replied, unable to hide his amusement. "Plus, you need snacks. Everyone knows you can't survive a movie night without food."

"Don't get too comfortable," Hyerin warned, narrowing her eyes playfully. "You're still annoying."

"Fair point," Seungmin conceded with a shrug. "But so are you!"

They walked through the store, the tension easing between them as they grabbed various snacks.

"Hey, do you remember when you spilled soda all over the table during game night?" Seungmin laughed, recalling a particularly embarrassing moment for Hyerin.

"I didn't spill it! It just... exploded!" Hyerin shot back, her cheeks reddening.

"Exploded, huh? Sure," Seungmin chuckled, grabbing a giant bag of popcorn. "You should've seen your face!"

"I should've seen yours when you tripped over the carpet," Hyerin retorted, nudging him playfully.

"Touché," Seungmin admitted, grinning as they made their way to the checkout. "We're actually having fun right now."

They returned to Minho's place, bags of snacks in hand. The moment they entered, everyone turned to them, eagerly awaiting the snack reveal.

"Drumroll, please!" Seungmin announced, raising his arms as if he were on stage.

"Ta-da!" Hyerin declared, pulling out the assorted snacks. "We present to you... the future of movie nights!"

"Finally! We can survive!" Felix cheered, jumping up from his seat.

As the group settled back in, the chaos continued. Suhyun was now lying on the couch next to Minho, her eyes twinkling with delight as they shared popcorn. Seungmin and Hyerin had found their spots again, bickering lightly but with a sense of comfort between them.

Hours passed, filled with laughter, arguments, and occasional scaredy-cat reactions to the movie. Eventually, the atmosphere calmed down, and the exhaustion of the night took over.

Suhyun had fallen asleep with her head on Minho's shoulder, while Seungmin and Hyerin had nestled close to each other, their bickering finally fading into peaceful silence. Hyunjin, unable to keep his eyes open, had leaned against Hwa-young, who was blissfully unaware of the cozy intimacy that had formed.

Chan, Changbin, Jisung, and Felix were all dozing off on the floor, surrounded by a sea of empty snack wrappers and discarded candy wrappers. The air was thick with warmth and laughter, a perfect encapsulation of their chaotic but cherished friendship.
