It had been a few days since the chaos at school, but today had been particularly brutal. Suhyun, Hyerin, Felix, Hyunjin, and Jeongin all trudged out of the school building, looking like survivors of a battlefield. A battlefield of lectures, pop quizzes, and one very boring English class.

"I swear," Hyunjin groaned as he rubbed his temples, "if I have to listen to one more of Mrs. Bae's history lessons, I'm going to throw myself out of the window."

"You mean sleep through one more history lesson?" Suhyun teased, smirking. "You barely lasted five minutes today before dozing off."

Felix snickered, popping a piece of candy into his mouth. "That's because Hyunjin was up all night practicing his 'legendary' dance moves."

Hyunjin glared at him, but he was too exhausted to argue. "Shut up, sunshine."

Hyerin walked between them, dramatically throwing her arms over Felix and Hyunjin's shoulders. "We need something to save this day from becoming a complete disaster. How about we hang out at the café downtown?"

Suhyun perked up at the idea. "Yes! I need caffeine. Desperately."

"Doesn't the café have those cute little cakes too?" Jeongin chimed in, his face lighting up. "I'm in. I need something sweet after dealing with today's nightmare."

"Anything to wipe the memory of that English lecture from my mind," Felix said, making a face. "I know the language, and even I didn't understand half of what Mr. Lee was going on about."

With the plan set, they all headed to the café. As they walked down the street, Felix kept trying to cheer everyone up with his usual sunshine antics.

"So, anyone wanna hear a joke about coffee?" he grinned, bouncing along.

"No," they all said in unison, but Felix ignored them.

"Why do coffee beans never gossip?"

"Why?" Jeongin asked, unable to resist, despite the collective groans from the others.

Felix grinned wider. "Because they're afraid of getting roasted!"

Hyerin let out a snort of laughter, while Hyunjin and Suhyun groaned loudly.

"That's terrible," Suhyun muttered, though she couldn't help but smile a little.

They finally reached the café, the comforting smell of coffee and freshly baked pastries instantly improving their moods. They grabbed a cozy booth in the corner and ordered their drinks and snacks.

As they settled in, Hyunjin, who had miraculously perked up after getting his iced Americano, turned to Jeongin. "Hey, baby, how's life treating you in your class of babies?"

Jeongin rolled his eyes, sipping his hot chocolate. "I'm older than your dancing skills, Hyunjin."

The table burst into laughter, with Felix nearly spilling his latte. "Oof, roasted again! Jeongin's been savage lately."

Jeongin shrugged innocently, but a small, proud smirk played on his lips.

Suhyun, sipping her iced latte, leaned back in her chair. "Honestly, I don't care what we do. As long as it involves not being at school."

Hyerin nodded in agreement. "I second that. Today felt like it would never end."

After Minutes of stuffing their faces with sweets and coffee, Felix, Suhyun, Hyerin, Hyunjin, and Jeongin were well on their way to recovering from the disaster that was today's school day. Just as Hyunjin was about to launch into another dramatic retelling of how he "barely survived" the day, the café door swung open with a loud thud.
