Hey there!

First, thank you for picking up this collection. Your interest means more than you know.

Challenges, to me, have always been puzzles to solve, not roadblocks. When the world asked me to fit into its mold, I didn't push back-I just did what I needed to. Just quietly showed I was capable. But over time, I've realised that some voices, especially those who are outside the norm, aren't truly heard. It's not that we don't have things to say; it's that speaking up can sometimes feel like being forced into another box-the "victim" box. And that's not where we belong.

This collection isn't about asking for sympathy. It's about trying to giving another perspective -both the light and the dark. Some of these poems delve into darker, even depressive, spaces-not because life is all black, but because, like any life, it's a mix of black and white.

You might find some of these poems relatable, maybe realising you're not alone in those feelings. And if not, perhaps they'll change your perspective on what it means to be different.

One last thing: Consider this collection a living canvas. Some poems might not make the final cut, but the collection will endure this time- I promise. 😉
