Chapter -14. A Clear Communication

Advit went near to Shreya and took out pencil from her bun. Her hairs were all over her face. Advit slightly put her hairs behind her left ear. And bend towards her. He wishpered something .

Advit : I am definitely not having any crush on you. But seems like you have feelings for me. Tabhi to mere pass aate hai hi aapki heartbeat fast ho gai. Aur mere itne kareeb aane se aapki saansein bhi ruk gai. ( paused) ( spoke with utmost soft voice) Ms. Shreya Vardhmaan, keep breathing.  I can't afford to  lose a precious and talented teammate like you at this critical moment.

Shreya came back to her senses and pushed him away gently.

Shreya : ( took a deep long breath and said calmly) I get it what you want to say. All i want to know why you are being very indifferent towards me? You know hamare professional ya phir personal relations thik nahi hai. To aap agar mujhse ese behave karenge to mujhe aur office staff ko thoda sa to doubt hogaa hi..

Advit : I'm sorry .

Shreya looked at him. And raised her eyebrows.

Advit : Hamari first meeting achi nahi rahi. Aur Uske baad wo Chori ka incidence. Aur phir aap per blame. Aur maine aapko kaafi jyda bhala bura bola mujhe acha nahi laga.

Shreya : To aap guilty feel kar rahe hain. Aur apna guilt khatam karne ke lie aap mujhse ache se behave kar rahe hai....

Advit : Mujhe kisi ne advice di hai esa karne ki. Mujhe pehle situation samjhani chahiye thi phir react karna chahiye tha. I'm actually very embarrassed.

Shreya : Koi baat nahi. Beeti Baatein bisar de, aage ki sudh le hu... ( let the past conversations in past and move on).

Advit : Ohk.

There was an awkward silence after that. They both started doing there work again.

Riya woke up. She went in Shreya's room as she was looking for Shreya. She wasn't in her room. Riya called her. Shreya's phone was on silent and Riya was worried for Shreya. She went upstairs and saw her working. Riya looked at her from afar.

Riya : ( in her mind) Kitne pyaar se ye kaam karti hai. Jaise apne kaam se ye sabse jyada pyaar karti hai. Kitni shanti hai iske chehre per. Ye duniya ki saari khushiyaan deserve karti hai. Aur duniya me sabse jyda pyaar karne wala insaan bhi . Bhagwaan ji iski saari pareshaniyan khatam kar ke isse dher saari khushiyaan aur pyaar de do.

Riya came to Shreya and hugged her from back . Shreya looked at her and smiled. .

Shreya : Kya hua?

Riya : Time dekha hai. 1:30 am..

Shreya : Sorry sorry.

Riya : Chalo jaldi. Sojao.

Shreya hugged her back.

Shreya : ( being gullible ) Ohk Mamma.

They laughed.

Riya : Koi aur bhi kaam kar raha hai kya?

Shreya nodded in yes, while packing everything and closing her laptop.

Riya went to Advit who went to his office. He was also closing everything.

Riya : Aap abhi aur kaam karenge, sir?

Advit : Nahi, bass. Hogya. Wo Shreya, I mean Ms. Vardhmaan abhi bhi kaam kar rahi hain.

Riya : Nahi sir uska aaj ka kaam ho gya.

Advit : Aap iss time..... Koi kaam tha. Kyunki aap to rest karne chali gai thi?

Riya : Shreya workaholic hai, aur insomniac bhi , to bass usse hi lene aai thi.

Advit : ( he spoke to himself ) Insomnia and workaholic Deadly combination.
