Chapter -9. A Rival 's Plan

Shreya was in her room. She was thinking Riya's words again and again. But before that.

Shreya : ( talking to self) Riya esa nahi karegi. Wo esa kar hi nahi sakti hai. Koi use blackmail to nahi kar raha. Shreya! Novel padhne ki jagah sone ki koshish kr. Kya soch rahi hai tu? Koi kyu blackmail karenga use. Usne kya bigada hai kisi ka? Soch, Shreya soch. Kuch to miss kar rahi hai tu. Kya?

Shreya ye sab soch hi rahi thi.

Shreya : Piche se shuru karte hai. Project banaya, project ideas, project finalize hua, project bidding ke lie gaya . Lekin inme Riya kahan hai.

She was analysing each and everything after incident. Suddenly she remember the harsh words of Riya.
( Tumne sabki Zindagi kharab kar di, Rakshit ki Zindagi barbaad kar di.. Bla bla....) Everything was roaming in her mind. She was about to be faint. But she told herself.

Shreya : You can't be weak. You can't relay on anyone for the rest of your life. You need to face the things on your own. Riya was nowhere wrong. Everytime the focus is on me. You can't be this selfish Shreya. You can't. They have their known lives. You can't ruin others life for your convenience.

For the first time Shreya was trying to face the things in her life and how it's impacting rest of her life and family and friends. Shreya was reminiscing  all those moments when she was having anxiety attacks, when she was afraid. She remembered everything.
She laid  down on the bed and tears were rolling from her eyes. She didn't realize her phone was ringing.

Next morning ..........

In the office.......

Everyone was tense regarding the incident that happened last day. No one was able to concentrate on their work.

Employee 1: Kya chal raha hai aajkal office me. Log kuch bhi kar rahe hai.

Employee 2: lekin aisa kon kar sakta hai. Har koi apna kam hi kar raha hai.

Employee 3 : Sab raat raat bhar baith kar kaam karte hai. Apne ideas share karte hai. Aur end result kya aata hai? Ye project leak hona.

Meeting announced.....

Mr. Saxena : Hello, everyone Shreya, Riya, Advit and Project se related saare logo ko 11:00 am conference room me report karna hai.

Advit, Malik and Saxena was looking very tensed due to what they saw last night.

In the meeting :
A video was played.

In the video a girl was there who was wearing black jacket and black pants and cap was there. Her face was also covered with mask. She was looking like Shreya. Same height, same style, same nails, even shoes were same. She entered in Saxena office. She knew password. She stole Pendrive and few important documents. And left. It was 3:00 am in the morning.

Everyone in the meeting room was looking at Shreya. But Shreya was quite. Shreya started observing.

Advit : So Ms. Riya Dhiman. You wanted to protect your friend and that's why you confessed as you are culprit. And you Ms. Vardhmaan. Aap to apne kaam se bahut hi pyaar krti hai. Oh  ... I'm sorry my mistake. Dikhawa karti hai. Aap to paiso se pyaar karti hai.

Riya was looking down staring at the floor.

Advit : ( pointing towards  Riya) Your father is absolutely fine. He doesn't need anything. He is doing absolutely good. Ms. Dhiman.

Shreya : Can i watch this video once again?

Mr. Saxena : Beta, agar koi problem hai to bolo. Esa kyu kia tumne?

Advit : Maybe, mujhe embarrass karne ke lie? Waise bhi Shreya ko mera interfere karna acha nahi lagta. Ya phir aapko esa lgta hai ki Ye video morph hai??
