Prom and Graduation are two of things every senior in high school looks forward to. You for one get to dress up, sneak in some booze and get drunk off your ass, and second you get to leave highschool forever. Rosealine Bishop fought hard for the chances with Erik. She claims she began noticing a change in behavior after a few months of dating.

Or as she says, he began acting afraid to be home.

The Menendez Brothers Trial. 1995. Rosealine Bishops Testimony. Script: 3

L: Did you ever notice a change in behavior in Erik?

R: Not immediately, no.

L: Did Erik frequent your home a lot?

R: Yes.

L: What time did he typically come over?

R: It was typically after dark. Like after your typical dinner time. He'd come right in.

L: Did Erik ever sneak into your house during
any of those times?

R: No ma'am. He was always allowed in no matter the time or circumstance.

L: Did he ever show up with bruises?

R: Yes.

L: Did you ever ask what they were from?

R: Yes. He excused them as being from where he played tennis.

L: Did you suspect he was lying?

R: No. I believed him.

L: Ms Bishop, I'm gonna show you a few photographs and I want you to confirm who is in the pictures, okay?

R: Okay.

Leslie walks up the stand, two pictures in her hand. One is a picture of her and Erik at prom and the other is them at their graduation with Lyle.

L: Who is in the first photograph?

R: That would be me and Erik Menendez. We were at our senior prom.

L: Okay, now what about the second photograph?

R: That is me, Erik and Lyle at Erik's and I's graduation.

L: Did Jose try and stop you and Erik from attending prom together?

R: Yes. He said that Erik should experience dating someone else in highschool besides me.

3RD POV.

1988.

Rose layed in bed, her arm hanging off the side of the bed as she was half asleep. The street light shined into her bedroom, making an orange hue.
