High School Love

Chapter 1 ~ New

Akaza's POV

I just moved to Long Island from Florida due to my parents passing away. My older brother Hakuji took me in after their passing. Hakuji put me in a school nearby. My first official day of school starts tomorrow. Hakuji informed me that the school I will attend doesn't require a uniform. Hakuji said he would take me shopping for new clothes after he gets off work.

After I finished unpacking everything in my room. I ventured off into town around 10 am. I looked around for a bit and spotted a doughnut place nearby. I headed inside the doughnut place with the money Hakuji gave me in case I wanted to purchase something. I ordered a strawberry frosted donut with an iced latte. I grabbed my order and left.

I was making my way back home when I bumped into someone on the sidewalk. I apologized for bumping into them. The person said, "It's ok, and are you new around here?" I replied "Yes". They introduced themselves as Yorrichi. I told him that my name was Akaza. Yoriichi asked, "Do you have any family you live with?" I replied to him, saying that I lived with my brother Hakuji. He asked if I would be going to Kimetsu No Yaiba High School, which was near the area. I responded with, "Yes, I will." He asked, "What grade you're in?" I replied, saying I was in 11th grade. Yoriichi stated, "My big brother is in the same grade as you." I asked Yoriichi what grade he was in. Yoriichi said, "I'm in the 10th grade." I responded with alright. After looking at the time on my phone, I knew I should start heading back home.

I said to Yoriichi that it was nice meeting him and that I needed to head back home. I said my goodbyes to Yoriichi. He said, "Goodbye." After that, I took my leave and started to head back home. I was in front of the house before I knew it. I walked inside the house after unlocking it with the key Hakuji gave me. I went upstairs, opening the door to my room. I walked over to my desk to sit down and finish a couple of things while eating my donut.

Narrator's POV

After Akaza was done with whatever he was doing at his desk. He heads to bed to get some sleep. A couple of hours later, he was woken up by his brother Hakuji. Telling him to get dressed and that it was time to go shopping for new clothes. Akaza got dressed, and then they headed out to purchase some new clothes.

With Yorrichi

Yorrichi's POV

I finally made it back home with little time to spare. I walked in to see my brother on the couch watching TV. I walked over to the couch and sat down next to him. He looked over at me with a bit of annoyance, but he didn't say anything to me. I spoke up and told him about this new person in town.

He seemed curious about what I had to say regarding this person. I continued, but I didn't tell him Akaza's name due to not wanting him to do anything to Akaza. He gave me a questioning look, but I gave back a look of confusion. He appeared to let it go, making me feel relieved that I wasn't questioned further. I got up and went into my room to head to bed due to it already being so late.

Kokushibio's POV

I wondered who this boy Yurrichi was talking about and what he looked like. Yorrichi didn't tell me his name. It seemed he forgot the kid's name, so I didn't question him about it. I will just have to wait and see for myself. Knowing my parents will question why I'm up so late. I start to head towards my bedroom. I sat on my bed after getting into my nightwear dreading waking up to go to school in the morning. I laid down and soon went to sleep...
