Recap
Of course, even going into the next week. He is still very protective of me. I wondered how Kokushibo feels about this...

Kokushibo's POV
Akaza's presence was nice to be around compared to others. I hate how Rengoku was near akaza at all times, though. This soon came to an end after a week. I was extremely thankful it was only temporary. I finally got why Yorrichi hung out with akaza as much as he did. Akaza is perfect in every aspect his bravery and his willingness to protect others were very inspirational. For me, the final positive attribute was his beauty.
Muzan did try to take his revenge, but I intervened before he could do anything drastic. Nakime notified me about Muzan's plan to jump akaza after school. I questioned how she was able to find such info. She just said, "I have connections." Not wanting to go back and forth with her. I switched the subject.
After our convocation soon ended. I headed into the lunch room, spotting Akaza sitting with a group of kids. I walked up to akaza and tapped his shoulder. Initially, his expression is one of confusion, but it quickly shifts into one of recognition. He invites me to sit with him. Naturally, I accepted his offer because who wouldn't have wanted to sit next to this angel? After taking my seat, he introduced me to everyone at the table.
After lunch, we went our separate ways to attend our classes for the remainder of the day. It was during the last-period class that I was able to see Akaza again. I caught Muzan glaring dangers at Akaza. I changed my seat to sit beside Akaza after noticing such behavior. Since there were no assigned seats, moving shouldn't cause any issues. Muzan halted his glaring the moment I rose from my seat.
After class, I accompanied Akaza to his locker upon request. He then followed me to mine. Once we had both retrieved our belongings, we went outside to wait for Akaza's ride. It turned out muzan was too cowardly to stick to his word. The school day ended, and Akaza was picked up. Yoriichi and I waited for our parents, but they never showed up.
Yoriichi called to inquire about their whereabouts. Our mother explained that she and our father were both working the night shift. She promised to call Hakuji to pick us up. True to her word, Hakuji's car pulled up in front of the school just minutes later. We approached the car and climbed in. To my delight, Akaza was sitting in the passenger seat and greeted us warmly. Hakuji presented us with a choice to stay with them for the night until our parents got off work or to go back to our own house. After glancing at Yorrichi, it seemed we shared the same thought. Simultaneously, we both suggested their house.
We headed to their house, and Hakuji paused to pick up some groceries. After a bit, we arrived at their house. Hakuji began preparing dinner. I went with Akaza to his room. Before heading toward the room. I noticed Yoriichi assisting Hakuji in the kitchen.
Narrator's POV
After Kokushibo and Akaza finished their homework, they left the room. Upon exiting, they saw Yoriichi setting the table. Once the table was set, they began to eat. The sibling's parents apologized to Hakuji for the call
on short notice. Hakuji accepted the apology and welcomed them to join in at the table with their children, who were eating and chatting happily. The two families separated after indulging in dinner together. As the Tsugikuni family departed for home. Kokushibo was left with the feeling of having made a friend and a good one at that. The new week began with a test of Companionship between Kokushibo and Akaza.
