Recap

This was the final nail in the coffin for Kokushibo to realize that he had developed feelings for Akaza.

Narrator's POV

Kokushibo holds feelings for Akaza and views him as a friend, but this perception is far from the truth. Kokushibo might have been steering clear of Akaza, potentially to assess whether a bond had formed between them, viewing Akaza more as a friend. Akaza hasn't truly dealt with kokushibo, avoiding him well. Let's see how akaza feels on this matter, shall we?

Akaza's POV

It has been a week since Kokushibo accompanied me to my class or interacted with me during the morning period. I asked Rengoku on the matter, but he stated that he was unaware. So I waited until I had a class with Shinobu.

I sought Shinobu's opinion on the matter and also asked if I could visit her place this weekend. She seemed eager to spend time with me. She said, "I would ask my older sister if you could come to the house on the weekend." After pausing for a moment, she admits that she doesn't understand why Kokushibo would avoid you. She says, "I would look into it, so don't worry." Trusting her fully, I leave it up to her.

We chatted and talked with each other throughout the entire period. The teacher's absence presented no issue whatsoever. We head off in different directions to our next class. Gyutaro quickly caught up and was soon walking close behind me. It appeared he wanted to chat, so we talked as we headed to class. I've come to realize that he isn't as bad as he appears once you become familiar with him.

Gyutaro's POV

I spoke with Akaza. He isn't that bad. His personality is just a bit too cheerful for my taste, but I don't hold it against him. My sister told me to watch over him, so I might as well get to know him. After a couple of days, I did grow accustomed to akaza. Sometimes, I observed people glaring at Akaza with looks of animosity. Upon them noticing me next to him, they scurried off.

We finally made it to our next-period class. That is where my friend Douma spills the news about what happened to muzan a couple of weeks prior. And how he ended up in the hospital. Douma said, "Muzan fought Kokushibo at the park near ###, and that muzan lost poorly. It wasn't even a fight. At that point, it was a beatdown."

Narrator's POV

After Douma explained the whole thing to Gyutaro. He questioned Douma on how he learned this information. Douma said that he knows some people. Gyutaro, not wanting to think too much on the matter. Gyutaro switched their conversation to a different topic. The day was drawing to a close. Everyone had left for home, and Friday was on the horizon.

With Kokushibo & Yoriichi

Kokushibo's POV

Upon our arrival at the house, Yoriichi made a surprising remark. He said, "You must love Akaza more than just a friend. The way you look at him is different; you don't look at anyone else in that manner. And I'm aware that Muzan is in the hospital because of you due to the note you left on your bed when you exited through the window."I was contemplating my feelings for Akaza, seeing him as more than a friend. However, my train of thought was halted when Yoriichi declared he would keep it from our parents. I was relieved upon hearing him say that.

Yorichi then suggested, "You should tell Akaza how you feel." I expressed my preference to not jeopardize my friendship with Akaza due to my feelings. He countered by suggesting that I might never find out if Akaza reciprocates those feelings unless I take the chance. Although I agreed with his point, I still declined to confess to Akaza. He then threatened to tell Akaza himself, prompting me to agree to confess, albeit reluctantly. We have made the decision that I would announce it to Akaza on Monday.

Narrator's POV

Will kokushibo follow through with his promise to his younger brother Yorrichi?
