Narrator's POV
Due to the contents of the dream. Akaza starts to cry, not wanting to wake up his brother, he chooses to cry silently. Eventually, he cried himself to sleep. This has continued to happen for the past couple of days. This became frequent enough that some of his friends began to take notice of Akaza's mood shift. When they attempt to speak with Akaza regarding it, he just dodges the subject.
The school was calm until this week when 3 fights broke out in the school building. It was Friday when Akaza realized one of his friends was going to be targeted during their lunch period. He keeps hearing everyone whisper about the fight later that day. He warned Rengoku about him being a target, but Rengoku seemed not disturbed by it in the slightest. Akaza questioned Rengoku about his calmness in the situation he was in.
Akaza says to Rengoku that he intends to help him in the fight. Rengoku objects to him being involved in his fight but respects Akaza for wanting to help. After a little back in forth between the two friends. Rengoku finally was able to persuade Akaza not to get involved. The teacher appeared to be too concentrated to even hear what they were whispering about. They looked back to the lesson that was being taught by the teacher so they wouldn't get in trouble. After class, Akaza reluctantly left Rengoku's side and headed towards his next-period class.
A fight soon broke out during Rengoku's lunch period. The students who were involved were picked up by a parent regarding the fight. The day went on as it normally would, but there was tension still in the atmosphere of the school. Which made some people uneasy as the day went by. It was the end of the school day, but Akaza didn't spot Yorrichi. Douma did tell him about the fight and what happened. Akaza told Douma to text the rest to him. He waved Douma goodbye and left to look for his brother's car. Akaza's brother picked him up. They arrived home getting into their routine. They head soon to bed for the night. Until one was texted something disturbing...
Akaza's POV
I was woken up from my sleep due to my phone notification going off. I looked to see who it was and it turned out to be Yorrichi texting me.
Yorrichi Texting Akaza
Yorrichi: Be careful of my brother he can be rude and harsh. I'm telling you this so you can be safe, Akaza.
What is your brother's name? :Akaza
Yorrichi: His name is Kokushibo.
I will be careful and where were you after school? :Akaza
Yorrichi: I was sent home because of my brother.
Will you be in school next week? :Akaza
Yorrichi: No, I will be out for a week like my brother because they think I had something to do with it when I didn't.
Oh, alright, also, do you want to come over to my house this weekend? :Akaza
Yorrichi: I would love to let me just ask my parents. I will get back to you when I find out.
Alright, I'm going to head back to sleep. Goodnight :Akaza
Akaza's POV
I turned off my phone and put it back on the charger. The thought of going back to sleep frightens me because of that dream that replays over and over again. After a mental battle of going to sleep or not. I decided to go to sleep knowing that my brother saw me with eye bags. He would get suspicious and find out and I don't want him to find out. I went to sleep soon, awaiting the next morning because it was Saturday.
With Yorrichi
Yorrichi's POV
I waited on the couch until my parents got home. I heard the door opening at 10 pm. They looked at me and asked why I was up. I told them I had something to ask them. They looked back at me with their eyebrows raised. I asked if I could go to Akaza's house tomorrow. They were thinking for what seemed like forever. They finally said yes and told me to tell Akaza to send his address. They wanted to drop me off at his house to meet him.
The Next Morning
Narrator's POV
Yorrichi texted Akaza and started to get dressed to head over to his place. He got a couple of questioning looks from Kokushibio, but he didn't say anything. After getting ready, he went downstairs to see his parents already at the door waiting for him. They got in the car and drove to Akaza's house. They walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. The door to the house opened for them to see...
