A loud crash and shriek drag Ardelia out of her sleep. She blinks the sleep out of her eyes trying to wake up and absorb what is happening. Confusion clouding her and the temperature rising. Smoke begins to flood her lungs. She can hear the screams of the women. She pulls herself out of bed nearly tripping over her shoe. She peaks out the window to see her mother's cabin on fire. Fear floods every sense as she looks over to see another cabin light up. She starts to cry hearing the women screaming. She immediately runs out the back door and hides behind a tree.

She pokes her head around the large tree trunk to see a familiar face. "Cedrick?" She whispers to herself. He's laughing and high fiving a man next to him. They are holding large sticks nearly large enough to qualify as logs. The end of their sticks are on fire, Cedrick holds the fire edge against one of the cabins. Rage begins to be the only emotion running through her mind.

She closes her eyes and begins to recite an incantation, one to put out the fire. The men both stop laughing when the flames go out. Just then Ardelia feels a burst of energy. Her eyes begin to glow Blue along with her hands. Then, suddenly they change to red. She stares at her own hands. It hits her, they are dead. All of them are dead.

Covens bind their powers together, so if one or all of them die their powers shift to the living member or members. Which in this case is Ardelia. If only one member is living your flame changes color.

The men are looking around anxiously awaiting someone to attack. Suddenly they spot a furious Ardelia on the roof of one of the cabins. Cedrick doesn't look shocked to see her, which she definitely takes note of. She lifts her hand creating a ball of fire. Both of the men look petrified. Cedrick suddenly behaves apologetically. He begins to beg for his life and apologize profusely. Ardelia has absolutely no sympathy.

"Ardelia, please. We are so sorry. Don't kill us." he can see this is not working, so he switches tactics. The woman he met earlier seemed very soft. Like a pushover. She gave off the vibe of not wanting people to think badly of her. So he started threatening her value and appearance. "Don't do this. If you do this, you will just prove societies opinion of witches. You don't want that do you?" She tilts her head, almost like she wonders if he hears what he's saying.

"You all think so badly of us...but look at what you did. You killed my family for entertainment." She says coldy.

"No. We wanted to get to you, before you could get us. No hard feelings. It was a preventative measure." He says, making his friend laugh.

"How does that make sense...we were here before you. We have been here years before you were even born babe. If we wanted to get you, you'd be got." He looks confused. He looks to his friend before looking back up to her. She starts to float down to the ground in front of them. She gives an evil smirk before launching a ball of flame at their feet. They begin to scream bloody murder. She just watches with a smile. A single tear drops from her eye.

She waits until they are no longer making sound before she walks into her mother's half burnt cabin. Having to cover her mouth and nose because of all of the smoke she waves her hand to clear the smoke. Ardelia kneels beside her mother's body that's sprawled on the floor. Gently lifting her head, she places it on her lap. Ardelia softly strokes her hair as tears begin to escape her eyes.

"You were right mom. I'm so sorry... I don't know why I didn't listen. This is all my fault... but I promise I will even the scales. They will no longer get away this. Preventative measure my ass. If a bad witch is what they want then that's what they will get. For you mom. I love you so much, rest easy." She finishes before placing a kiss on her forehead.

She stands up before waving her hand dramatically, leading to all the witches bodies being buried. She felt that it was the least she could do for them. She walks outside and waves her hand again turning the cabins into a pile of ash. This was to prevent anyone walking by in the future from figuring out who was living out here. She wanted her coven to be undisturbed. She waves her hand teleporting both of the men's bodies and herself to the middle of town.

The town is so quiet you could a pin drop, seeing as it is the middle of the night. She stares Cedrick straight in his dead eyes before snapping her fingers putting both his and his friend's heads on sticks. She smirks whilst brushing his hair out of his face. "I always did like your hair." She says.

She takes a deep breath before waving her hand to teleport back to the outskirts of town. She stands there for a while, just observing the sleepy town. She is burning up inside with fury. She flys above the town, staring straight down at it. She flatens her hand forming a ball of fire. "This ones for you mom." She says quietly before aiming for a house in the center of town. The ball crashes through the roof causing the entire thing to blow up immediately. That fire travels to the building next to it. She launches another one to a house closer to the edge of town, and one to the otherside of town. Between her aim and the quick travel of the flames. The flames engulfed several houses and shops encircling the town. Trapping the villagers inside. They all scream and beg for help. She lets out her most psychotic, evil laugh before flying away.
