It's 10 o'clock at night and the four girls are standing next to their bench waiting for their principal. Eliza can't fully process any of this. They are all tugging at their thick coats, trying to keep the cold out. Luna lets out a sigh of relief when she sees a silhouette of a person walking up. "I think she's here guys." Luna says, causing everyone to shift focus in the direction of the person.
"You ladies ready?" Principal Harris says, entering the light. They all nod as they shiver from the cold. "Lead the way." she says nodding. Eliza walks toward the woods, that she finds to be even more creepy in the middle of the night.
Luna as always has her arm linked with Eliza. She leans over to whisper, "You okay?" She just nods, focusing on getting warm. After about twenty minutes they arrive at the cabin.
"This is it." Eliza says, swinging her arm toward the ugly cabin. Harris stares at it for a minute, saying nothing.
"What is it?" Mary asks Harris.
"Nothing, this place just reminds me of a cabin me and my friends hung out in. But, ours was a lot nicer." she chuckles. She turns swiftly beginning to pass out necklaces. "I made these for everyone. They have a protection spell, don't take them off." Everyone quickly puts them on. Everyone watches as she begins to drag a stick on the ground forming a circle in the dirt. She adds several items to the outside of the circle. Candles, Flowers, a bowl filled with some sort of liquid, and a shirt of Eliza's that she had instructed her to bring. She pulls out a small brown book. "Okay, I think we are ready..." she says getting cut off by a screech coming from the trees. Everyone faces the direction they think it came from. "Looks like we have company." Harris says. A ball of fire comes flying toward the group. The girls scream, whilst Harris swings her arms in a circle forming a dome of protection. The creature comes into view. It is hovering above them. It looks like a dead person that has just been resurrected. The skin is so deteriorated, you can see some bone. It is so pale and it looks like it has been severely burned.
"What do we do?" Rowan shouts. Everyone is panicking.
"We kill it." Harris says. She drops her arms, causing their force field, so to speak, disappear. She opens her palm creating a blue flame. She launches it toward the creature. It sways out of the way. Rowan jumps in launching her own balls of fire. Soon everyone is getting involved. Mary hits it's shoulder causing it to loose balance. But, regains it quickly. It flys straight toward Eliza. Her eyes glow a purple color as it gets closer. She clenches her fists out of anger. Crossing her arms into an X, quickly extending her arms. Causing a large blast. Everyone covers their eyes to avoid the bright light. When they look back it's gone. She killed it.
Luna runs up to her pulling her into a hug. "Are you okay?" She questions into the hug. Eliza wraps her arms around her tight nodding.
She pulls away quickly, "Is everyone okay? I'm so sorry! I didn't mean for you all to get attacked." She apologizes profusely. Everyone reassures her that they are fine and it isn't her fault. Harris walks forward book in hand.
"Let's handle this quickly shall we?" She says, instructing everyone to take their places. Eliza was instructed to stand inside the circle. "Everyone repeat after me and no matter what don't stop until I say... καθαρίζω, ανανεώνω, εξαλείφω. πλένω, αφαιρώ, τελειώνω," Everyone begins to repeat the incantation. After the third time, Eliza begins to groan in pain. Luna looks to her friend wishing she could run up to her and hug her, but she knows she can't stop. This is what is helping her. After the fourth time, Eliza is screaming. She dropped to her knees, her eyes are glowing in her signature purple color. Harris instructs everyone to stop after six times. Eliza goes quiet on her hands and knees, breathing deep.
