There was just no way this was happening. It couldn't be happening.

Not now.

Not when she was getting married in less than six months.

This was a disaster movie in the making and Xia was that main character that doesn't make it to the end.

If the girl's mind was going on a one-way track towards doom and gloom, Jisung's was switching lanes like crazy.

It's her! I can't believe it's her!

An awestruck smile started to take over his countenance but quickly faltered at the change of thought.

But why is she here? She didn't look happy, in fact, she looked both scared and confused. She couldn't possibly... I mean she can't be...

A cross of curiosity and panic flashed across his face as he inquisitively stared at her abdomen, trying to visualize a pregnancy at three months.

Not that he had much or any experience with what that should look like.

His mind didn't really get the chance to comprehend the gravity of potentially being a father for three whole months without even knowing, Renjun was ushering him over as if his job depended on it.

Maybe it did.

Xia at first felt uncomfortable when his gaze scanned her appearance, but eventually she switched over to irritated when it lingered on her stomach for far too long.

Does he honestly think I'm not smart enough to take my own safety precautions?

Then she tried to gauge his reaction to that idea. What if she had been? What then?

He was stunned, devoid of any clear expression other than his wide, unwavering eyes.

Renjun, unaware of the inner turmoil causing a thick tension between the two, continued on as if nothing was wrong.

As if the most earth shifting moment hadn't just occurred.

"Ms. Liang, this is Park Jisung our top dancer and 8-time champion. He trains and gives lessons here in the studio, so you can expect to see him around a lot."

Perfect.

Standing a couple feet away, she was reminded of just how tall he was. The girl felt like she was looking at the ceiling to meet his eyes, and that was with heels.

"Jisung, this is Ms. Liang, she's going to be working with Mr. Jung in the advertising department."

There was an unmistakable panic in the man's eyes.

Every second that ticked by made it more and more likely that Renjun was going to realize something was wrong.

Someone had to do something quick.
