            Kiara

The early morning breeze gave my face a hard slap as soon as I opened my eyes. It was an habit of Beth and Amy to leave the curtains open even while sleeping. I always told them not to but they never listen to me. This is why I never liked sleepovers with them but since I refused to tell them what's wrong they decided to stay for the night just to reassure me that they are always there for me.

Who wouldn't love them? People see us outside and think our friendship is a bed of roses which isn't. As a matter of fact, we've been through the worst scenarios of our lives. Some of the worst situations questioned the whole existence of our relationship while some brought us to the brink of breaking our bond but our friendship emerged stronger than before each time life throws hurdles at us and here we are now. The unbreakable trio.

It's quite wierd as they woke up earlier than me. I'm always the first person to wake among them.

    *remembers all of their sleepover*

Okay, maybe not all the time

I forced myself up and walked sluggishly into the bathroom. I was in no mood for an early bath so I washed my mouth, brushed my teeth and washed my face.

Still with my night wear on, I left the room and dashed down to the living room. The first thing I did was run into the kitchen. Amy and Beth always cooked breakfast each time they had sleepovers and this is one of the reasons I avoid my mum. She starts giving me list of reasons as to why Amy and Beth are wife material and I'm not. The one topic she dwells on is food and it's not like she knows how to make meals herself.

In terms of cooking, I'm way more better than mum. I do best anything that involves pastries. It's at least something to be proud of.

"Good morning ," I grumbled as I walked past them and opened the refrigerator to take a bottle of water.

I sat down on the stool and watched Amy make pancakes.

"We must have run out of foodstuffs for you to make pancakes so early in the morning," I pointed out.

"Don't even get me started," Amy warned and i smiled.

Amy is a famous chef who has gone for so many cooking shows, competitions, games and so on. She has also been invited to judge chefs based on their cooking skills and I always made sure to go with her for each one she attends. Don't blame me, I get to eat free food.

But Beth, what do I say about Beth. She's a model just like Kelvin and also a fashion designer. Also famous, obviously.
I'm not trying to brag that I move  around with rich people, I'm just trying to let you know how influencial they are. If I were to go bankrupt then I know people I can run to and rely on for help.

Seeing how Amy and Beth were focused on their conversation, I tried to steal the ones already made but Amy caught me and whacked my hand with a spoon making me whine like a baby.

"How do you always do that?" I began petting my hand.

    "Chefs reflexes," she replied.

"Chefs reflexes," I mimicked her and she shot me dangerous look.

"I can't believe you're still wearing these gloves," Beth looked at my hands.

"I'll take them off soon enough, probably," I said the last word, low enough for no one to hear.

"Good morning, my little dolls," mum walked into the kitchen and hugged Beth and Amy.

I do get jealous of them sometimes. The love I always wished for my mum to shower on me was what they got free of charge but it's kind of like vice versa.
