Chocolate Biscuits

Ingredients:

115 g melted butter

3/4 cup self raising flour 

1 small cup sugar

1 egg

1 cup coconut

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

3 dessertspoons cocoa

Method: 

mix together the coconut, flour,sugar and cocoa. Add melted butter and vanilla essence, and then break egg into mixture. mix thoroughly. Press into a greased slab tin. Bake at 180 C for 20 minutes. Ice while still hot and cut into squares when cooled.


Icing: 

sift about 226 g of icing sugar and 1 dessertspoon of cocoa into a bowl. add a knob of butter and mix with enough hot water to make a stiff icing.
