Ingredients:

2 cups self raising flour

1 egg

1 cup sugar

4 dessertspoons golden syrup 

125 g butter / margarine 

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

2 teaspoons ginger


Method: 

Beat butter and sugar together well. Add egg, golden syrup and then dry ingredients. Mix until combined. Roll into small balls and place on a tray. Bake at 150 C for approximately 20 minutes.
