Ingredients:
2 cups self raising flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons butter / margarine
1 cup milk
extra milk for glazing
Method:
Preheat oven to 250 C. sift flour and salt , add butter and rub into flour. add milk to make a soft dough. turn onto a floured board and kneed very lightly . roll out to approximately 2 cm thick and cut into shapes. put on a hot , floured baking tray. Brush with extra milk and bake for 12 to 15 minutes in a very hot oven
