"Jeonghan-ah", Seungcheol called out cutely as they were getting ready for shoot."Yes?", Jeonghan responded with a bright smile.
They were fine. Jeonghan was glad they were. After another night of tumbling to the bed and getting lost in the sheets, the two friends, if that was still an appropriate term, found themselves wanting to go with the flow, to not fight whatever it is anymore. They just had to keep their actual relationship, their precious friendship, away from their physical arrangement. Also, their physical arrangement away from their members.
But it was proving to be hard, every day, as there was some kind of magnetic field when the two eldest were within each other's range.
They were shooting Bad Clue part 2. Seungcheol didn't have any right to look so damn hot in his character as Aide. Bad Clue always did it, nailing Seungcheol's looks. Jeonghan was having a hard time as it is in taking his eyes off of that man. If that wasn't enough, somewhere in the middle of it, the suit jacket was gone, the shirt's sleeves were rolled up. The look and character turning more badass with each passing moment as the crimes were getting revealed.
The tension between him and Seungcheol wasn't hidden but it wasn't suspicious either because they were playing rivals (if we ignore the fact where Seungcheol was looking at Jeonghan so fondly as the said man was accusing him for murder :p). They both shared many scenes together, making it easier for Jeonghan to stay close to Seungcheol. Many times Jeonghan pulled Seungcheol here and there just because it wasn't enough to touch him merely with eyes. And at every other chance, Jeonghan joked he wanted to enchain Seungcheol but only he knew he wasn't joking.
Jeonghan's thoughts were running wild and the other man wasn't helping either as when Jeonghan was actually binding him with the chain, he pulled him closer as the lights faded out completely.
Jeonghan gasped but made no attempts to get out of the strong hold. His hands settled on his chest and he relished in it, having him this close, touching him so intimately, like he was eager to, "You really think I'm the one behind all these murders, Assemblyman?"
"What I think is that you aren't really innocent, Aide."
The hold on him tightened, the chains digging into his waist, "You aren't really innocent either".
"The lights actually went out", Other members laughed as one of the staff jokingly announced, "Sorry for the inconvenience".
Jeonghan felt Seungcheol's face nuzzle into his neck, "Having a hard time keeping away, huh, aren't you?". The whisper in deep sultry voice made shivers run down his spine.
Fuck yes. All he wanted to do was accept it but all he croaked out was, "Cheol, somebody will see-
He couldn't even complete as lights were turned back on. Jeonghan was softly pushed back to a decent distance but he couldn't be steady on his feet.
Only he knew how he survived that shooting.
"Jeonghan hyung was hell bent on proving Seungcheol hyung guilty", Mingyu chuckled as they all were getting ready to go home.
"Seungcheol was guilty."
"It was the Aide. Now, stop it", Seungcheol pouted.
"What skeletons are you hiding in your closet, Choi Seungcheol?", First, that teasing had more than one meaning. Second, he used his full name.
Seungcheol made that face which Jeonghan knew by heart. He had been on receiving end for more times than he could count. It was his cue to run.
But the running away was never successful.
Before he knew it, he was caught in the very familiar headlock he always found himself giggling in.
After a week, they finally had a few days off. They had decided to spent those days in a vacation house without any cameras. But the plan was short-lived as their staff informed them that there had been a delay in uploading GOSE episodes. So, they had to give something to their content-hungry fans. Nevertheless, Seventeen was more than happy to oblige.
Nobody played Mafia game the way Seventeen did. They could play it anywhere, any time. So, they didn't need to worry about content like that one Carnival episode. Jeonghan's whole body cringed at the flashbacks as they sat in a circle to play Mafia game.
Chaos ensued when Jeonghan was out of the game and Seungcheol revealed his role of the Police.
Jeonghan didn't need to be a part of the game to be the part of fun, he managed it well while being dead too.
He leaned back on the sofa, supporting his back on the armrest and picked up his phone, smiling impishly.
"Cheol", He texted.
He immediately got a text back, which made his smile soft. He found Seungcheol looking at him with his head hung below but his eyes on him. The man raised his eyebrows. Something so simple as raising eyebrows shouldn't be this attractive but damn you, Choi Seungcheol.
He bit his thumb and pointed his finger secretly towards Seungkwan. He was being playful, yes, but Jeonghan didn't understand why he was being so sheepish in a strange way. He knew Carats would say that is so babygirl of him. They were well aware of everything that went around. But he couldn't bring himself to stop.
The text he received after made matters worse, "If I win this, you will give me a reward".
Nobody could read that text and even if they did, it was too ambiguous to understand. But Jeonghan understood it very well and it would be a lie to say if he, himself, wasn't wishing for Seungcheol's win.
