they got no idea about me and you

Jeonghan woke up with strong arms wrapped tightly around him, with his man's scent blanketed over him and the fact that he cried himself to sleep didn't matter anymore.

He had talked big and firm, he had made his stance clear. The last touch of Seungcheol's hand didn't falter him, not the awkward silent ride with Seungmin hyung, not the members on his floor, who were awake, asking him questions about his unexpected return but the moment he had hit the bed, it all came crashing down.

He shuffled and looked at the man, his worries dissipating into thin air. A part of him wanted to respect Seungcheol's dad and maintain some distance for the time being but another, bigger part of him was so proud, so happy that he was in Seungcheol's arms before he woke up. He remembered he had woken up earlier when Seungcheol came but it didn't take much to lull him back to sleep. That's how easy it was, with his Cheol.

"Sleep some more", Seungcheol mumbled as he gently brought Jeonghan's head to his chest.

They had to go on a World Tour right away. They had kept their issues aside and focussed on their career, gave their best but the ending days started to take a toll on him and to make matters worse, he overheard Seungcheol talking to his mom. He went to other's room in pursuit of some peace but instead got "Eomma, you aren't getting it- Yes, we aren't staying in the same room but I love- You all are giving me a headache now".

Jeonghan was getting oversensitive with each passing second, he didn't consider that Seungcheol probably had a lot on his plate. Maybe, he was included in the 'all' who were causing the elder stress. He retreated to his room, slowly, or he thought so because Dokyeom looked quite startled at his entry.

"Hyung, you okay...?"

He knew tilting his head, closing his eyes and releasing a breath didn't help because they were obvious signs of him being stressed. Not answering Dokyeom probably made it worse. But he could care less. He could fucking care less.

He stared at himself in the mirror of the bathroom and found his almost dead self staring back. In times like these, Jeonghan often condemned himself for his career choice. He wasn't made for anything that required moving his body for more than two hours. He began to wash his face but the water didn't come out. Please, no. His patience was already hanging low. He tried again but still nothing. He inhaled a sharp breath and tried again, moved his hands closer to the sensor, again nothing.

Jeonghan rarely got angry at people but things were a different story. If things were asked, Jeonghan was probably the scariest person on Earth. He had taken his frustration out on his shoes the other day.

The tap had no intentions to work and Jeonghan was seeing red.

"Why the fuck", In the blink of an eye, he was hitting the tap, "won't you work?!"

He was hitting it so violently, using up all the energy that was left within him, "Work, goddammit".

"Baby", Seungcheol's soothing voice was close to his ear, a big hand immediately covered his brutal hand and was working as a kind of shield between the same and the useless tap, "You are hurting yourself, Jeonghan, please".

It wasn't hard for Seungcheol to pull him away. He was breathing hard as they slid down on the floor, with him half on the other's lap, "Coups..."

"I'm here."

"Coups", He didn't know why he was calling for the man when he was just a breath away from him, when his hands were holding him tight, when he could feel him all over himself.

"Yes, yes, my precious", Seungcheol had slowly started rocking them. Dokyeom was standing by the door, too terrified to approach but worried enough to not leave them alone. "You had already scared him with your, as he said, 'eerie silence'. I'm sure this made it worse."

"I can't do this anymore. I want to go."

He knew Seungcheol would understand his words for what they actually meant. He didn't want to give up on his career, he just wanted to go home.

"We are going back tomorrow", His palm was burning red from hitting the tap continuously and harshly. He didn't even feel the existence of the pain until Seungcheol alleviated it with sweet and soft kisses.

Jeonghan saw a red blotch on other's knuckles and immediately felt guilt consuming him because he was sure it happened when the other was stopping him, saving him from hurting himself. Seungcheol got hurt when he put his hand in between.

"No, you didn't hurt me", Seungcheol spoke before he could voice anything out.

"I-I-"

"Shh, all is okay", All wasn't okay. Nothing was. But he grabbed Seungcheol's hand and kissed his knuckles lightly, apologetically and silently promised that it would be, that he would make it so.

They had just wrapped up their very last performance of the tour and were soaking it all in.

"Jeonghan-ah", Seungcheol was sitting behind him.

"Yes?"

"I love you", The sudden confession made him blush. A quick peck on his cheek made it worse. Jun, who was sitting beside them, looked in their direction once and didn't look again, probably wanting to give them privacy.

"Seungcheol-ah, don't...", He whispered warningly and looked around, finding no eyes as well as cameras on them. He couldn't stop the giggles leaving his mouth and shy smile spreading on to his face. Seungcheol's gummy smile took over his features.

Yes, they would be okay. Seungcheol's family had no idea about them.

They were each other's strength.

Also, they weren't the power couple for no reason. Together, they were invincible.
