He stared at the emptiness of the dark sky, the moon wasn't here tonight, and everything turned to black. He raised his hand, a faint or of red energy floated on his fingertip, cackling like electricity and waving like touched water. An owl flew past him, hooting loudly, breaking the silence of the night.

"Hey, buddy." Fitz said. He petted it's head.

The owl hooted again, quieter this time.

"What am I going to do?" Fitz said to himself. He feels useless, and now, Sophie already abandoned him, he sighed deeply.

"What will make them stop this fight??" He asked himself mentally. "Will my plans work?" He laughed at himself , "Such a stupid idea."

"How do you know if you haven't even tried, Fitz?" A voice called. A familiar female voice.

"Who are you?" Fitz shouted, reaching for his hidden dagger in his pocket.

The voice sighed. This time, a woman wearing white Greek style clothes shown in front of him. "Call me Eirene."

Fitz frowned. "I thought you're a man."

"It's my other form." Weird answer, but Fitz respected that.

"How do you know if you haven't tried?" Eirene asked again.

"Sixth sense." Fitz's teal eyes met hers.

"I used to think like you did, but things always turn out that I'm wrong. After I finally got the courage to do those things, I succeeded. I brought peace to this world. And I want you to do the same. If you have a plan, then put some effort in it. Remember, I'll be on your side." After the bunch of encouragement she told him, she disappeared in a beam of red and golded light.

Fitz sighed. He never had trust in himself before. He stared at the blank sky, a single shooting star came across. Sophie always told him that they bring luck to people who see them, and he just thinks that's she's being superstitious.

Maybe it does.

He dug out a tiny crystal the Neverseen gave him when Sophie abandoned him. He remembered Gisela's words.

"Swear the oath and you'll be one of us."

Fitz pressed the tiny gray crystal to his lips. "I will stop them."

The crystal faded to blinding white. He succeeded on his first try, soon, two people in black cloaks appeared on the hill.

"Hi, Fitz!" Gisela said cheerfully.

Fitz simply nodded. The owl beside him flapped its wings and flew away swiftly.

"I'm sure you swore the oath, right?" Gisela asked again, totally thrilled to have him on his side, unlike Sophie.

Fitz nodded again, staring at the other cloaked figure beside her.

The girl took off her hood, revealing hee face, her soft ice blue eyes shone through the dark night, and her blonde hair waved down to her shoulders. Not to mention, she looked good, but Sophie's still runner up.

"What do you think he could be, sweetie?" Gisela asked the girl in a soft voice, almost making Fitz vomit.

"I have no idea. He could be a great spy for us, but he's too far with the Black Swan."

Gisela sighed. "You're going to teach him our rules, Flames."

"Mother??" The girl, Flames, asked.

"You're going to be his mentor."
