ANIKA

Many people are really good in choosing things or in their choices, right? But I'm one of those people who's terrible in choices, no matter what choice it is.

"Anika? Won't you go to school today?" Asked my mother while I was peacefully asleep, or half asleep now I guess.

"No Maa, I only have two classes today and Nikita is also not going" I grumbled in a sleepy voice while blinking my eyes as I looked up at her.

"Alright then go back to sleep" Said my mother before leaving my room.

I sat up on my bed looking done with my life, what was the point of telling me to sleep when she has already woken me up so brutally may I add. I mean my arm is aching because of the strength she put in shaking me awake at 7 am.

"Kuch dino mein ganji ho jaungi mai" I muttered to myself while I was combing my hair after getting up.

(I will become bald in a few days)

It was a habit, the first thing I did after waking up was combing my hair. My hair was really pretty when I was younger, it had volume and was really strong too but now..well let's say it's not the ideal hair type.

"Arey now that you've woken up will you make some tea for me and your Baba? Make some coffee for yourself too" Said my mother while she was reading the newspaper.

"You don't have to tell me that, I do this everyday" I said while shaking my head at her before walking towards the kitchen.

The TV in my house was sold a week ago because the display of the TV was ruined completely and my parents decided that they would buy a new TV next month when they gets their salary. My mother is a working woman too, she is a Senior business manager in a pretty well known company whereas my father was a Sales Manager in a bank.

Now I know both of these positions sound fancy but they aren't, trust me. My mother's salary is 3 LPA and my father's salary is 5 LPA. Overall cutting off the money for Home loan, my school's fees, my elder brother's college fees and living cost as he lives alone, the money for grocery items and then the electric bills, around Four thousand to Five thousand rupees are left in our hand.

And from that also, around two thousand rupees goes away for our car loan, so in conclusion our savings are practically nothing.

"Baba, chini shesh hoygeche" I said to my father who was brushing his teeth with a Tank top and shorts on.

(Dad, We ran out of sugar)

"Acha..Ami bari pherar shomoy kine niye ashbo" Said my father before walking away towards the bathroom.

(Oh..I'll buy some on my way back home)

I nodded before singing the theme opening song of 'Ninja Hattori' while making tea for my parents and coffee for myself.

ADITYA

"How can you make a choice so quickly?" Asked Nikhil while looking at me in amusement.

"Because I know I make right choices, I just trust myself" I said while shrugging before placing a cup of tea in front of him.

When it came to making choices I was good at it, I could make my own choices perfectly well and they always turned out to be good for me. Maybe it was because I had already made alot mistakes in my choices after my parents passed away and I learnt from my mistakes.
