The team had been quick to accept the new club members to the volleyball club. Apparently, there were actually 4 new first years joining—Tsukishima Kei, who was very tall and anti-social, Yamaguchi Tadashi, who was very timid, and the obvious two, Hinata and Kageyama.
After talking and getting to know eachother, the team quickly started on their practice. Practicing meant that Hinata had to face his inevitable dread—kageyama.
Sure, they played together all the time back when they were still on speaking terms, and had developed a quick attack that would bring fascination and shock onto people's faces, but the awkwardness was still noticeable, very noticeable in fact. At first it may seem as though it was because they had just met that they were just 'shy' with eachother, but one look at their quick attack and you would know instantly that the two had spent hours, days, weeks even, perfecting the shot. The fact that hinata tried, emphasise on tried, (tsukishima kei) to socialise and befriend everyone except kageyama also did not help at all to hide the fact that the two had at least some kind of relationship—negative or positive.

I was so shocked to see that someone VOLUNTARILY starred this story or smth and got scared. I was literally about to delete this story off the face of the earth after I struggled so hard with the LITERAL 2ND CHAPTER but that ONE new viewer motivated me to write this.
