MEANWHILE
TAEHYUNG AND JUNGWON IN CHINA
Lee Xin’s heavily guarded compound. Armed guards patrolled every corner, and the weapon stockpile they were after was buried deep inside. The task was simple—get in, retrieve the weapons, and get out. But, as always, things were never that easy.
"We’ve got company everywhere," Jungwon muttered, his voice barely audible. "This is going to be a nightmare."
Taehyung, peering through his binoculars, shrugged. "Nothing we can’t handle."
"Hyung, there’s like fifty of them and just us two," Jungwon said, exasperated. "Your positiveness is exhausting."
Taehyung ignored him, continuing to scan the surroundings. Suddenly, something shiny caught his eye. Zooming in, he spotted one of the guards standing near a security post. The man’s wristwatch gleamed under the floodlights—sleek, gold, and utterly mesmerizing.
"Whoa…" Taehyung muttered, completely distracted. “ that’s a nice watch.”
Jungwon looked up from his tablet, blinking. "WHAT......?
Hyung, are you serious right now?"Taehyung kept staring through the binoculars, his voice filled with childlike wonder. "It’s so beautiful...I wonder if he got that custom_…"
Jungwon groaned, rolling his eyes. "YOU CAN’T ’t BE SERIOUS!!!.... We’re about to break into a heavily guarded compound, and you’re wasting time at a watch?"
Taehyung grinned, clearly entertained. "YAHHH!!!!, I AM OLDER THAN YOU GIVE SOME RESPECT."
"Focus, hyung!" Jungwon hissed, already working on hacking into the security system. "If you go after that, we’re both going to get shot!"
Taehyung chuckled, shaking his head. "Alright, alright, relax, kid. "
Jungwon muttered something, his fingers tapping rapidly on the tablet screen. "I’m about to kill the cameras. Five minutes, tops."
Taehyung finally pulled his gaze away from the guard’s wrist and focused back on the mission. He quickly scanned the rest of the compound, watching the movement of guards, gates, and surveillance equipment. Despite the banter, the tension of the mission was heavy in the air.
"Alright, we’ve got an opening on the east side. We’ll move in once you kill the cameras," Taehyung instructed, keeping his tone serious again.
"Got it," Jungwon replied, still busy hacking the system. "Just don’t go after any more shiny objects, please."
Before Taehyung could respond, the alarm blared throughout the compound. Taehyung’s head snapped toward the gates, where guards began rushing toward them.
"Shit!!, we’re blown," Taehyung muttered.
Jungwon groaned, quickly pulling out his gun. "See? Its all because of YOU !"
"SHUT UP,"Taehyung growled, pulling out his own weapon. He glanced back at the guards, and two of them bolted from their hiding spot, dodging bullets as they made their way toward the main building.
Taehyung and Jungwon worked in perfect sync, with Taehyung taking out the guards while Jungwon hacked into the security system mid-run.
Suddenly, one of the guards came at Taehyung. Without hesitation, Taehyung punched the man hard in the face, sending him stumbling backward. As the guard hit the ground, Taehyung noticed the glint of the coveted watch on his wrist.
In one smooth motion, Taehyung yanked the watch off the unconscious guard’s wrist and shoved it into his pocket. He glanced around, making sure no one saw his little treasure heist.
Unfortunately for him, someone did.
From across the compound, Jungwon stared at him with a disgusted expression.
Taehyung turned to him with a sheepish grin, pulling a silly face—a classic Tata Mike grin, eyes wide and lips puckered.

A tall man in suit came towards them, "That’s Lin Yi," Jungwon whispered, recognizing the man. "Lee Xin’s right-hand guy. Great, this just got worse."
Taehyung smirked. "I’ll handle him."
Before Jungwon could respond, Taehyung charged toward Lin Yi. The fight was immediate and brutal, with punches flying from both sides. Lin Yi was strong and fast, but Taehyung matched him blow for blow, his years of experience making him a tough opponent.
As the chaos unfolded, some of Taehyung’s members arrived through the shadows, moving with precision and stealth. They took down several of Lee Xin’s guards, reducing the overwhelming numbers.
"Good timing," Taehyung muttered between punches, glancing at his men.
Meanwhile, Jungwon was busy picking the lock on the storage room door. "Come on, come on…" he muttered, working quickly. Despite the danger, he kept glancing back at Taehyung and Lin Yi’s intense battle.
Lin Yi landed a hard punch on Taehyung’s jaw, but Taehyung retaliated swiftly, his fist connecting with Lin Yi’s ribs. The man grunted, but his expression remained cold and menacing.
"You’ll regret this," Lin Yi hissed, trying to catch his breath.
Taehyung, panting slightly but still smirking, wiped the blood from his lip. "Not today."
In a swift move, Taehyung disarmed Lin Yi and landed a powerful kick to his chest, sending him crashing into a pile of crates. Lin Yi groaned, barely conscious as Taehyung stood over him, victorious.
Jungwon’s voice cut through the air.
"Got it! Door’s open!"Taehyung gave Lin Yi one last look before jogging over to where Jungwon and the rest of his team stood. His face was flushed from the fight, but he wore a triumphant grin.
"Took you long enough," Taehyung said, trying to hide his fatigue.
Jungwon rolled his eyes. "Says the guy who got distracted by a watch".
Before Taehyung could respond, his men began hauling out the money and weapons from the storage room. Heavy duffel bags were passed from hand to hand as they worked quickly to load up the stash.
"Grab everything," Taehyung ordered, clutching his side where blood was seeping through his shirt.
Jungwon shot him a concerned look. "Hyung, you’re bleeding pretty bad."
"I’ll live," Taehyung muttered, wincing slightly but brushing it off. "Just make sure we get everything."
Within minutes, the compound was cleared out. The weapons, cash, and valuables were all secured, and Taehyung’s team efficiently loaded them into their getaway trucks.
As the last of the loot was packed away, Taehyung and Jungwon stood at the edge of the compound, catching their breath.
"We actually did it," Jungwon said, shaking his head in disbelief.
"Of course we did, after all its Taehyung’s plan," Taehyung replied, though his face was pale from the blood loss.
Jungwon chuckled. "Next time, try not to let something shiny catch your attention,"
Taehyung smirked, giving him a light punch on the shoulder. "You’re not in the place to giving me advice."
With their mission complete, the two of them shared a brief smile.
