It was early morning when Taehyung stumbled down the stairs, half-asleep, his hair tousled and eyes barely open. He was still dreaming about coffee and silence when the front door creaked open.

Taehyung blinked a few times, trying to adjust to the light, and saw a familiar figure entering the mansion.

“Hey, stop! Stop! What are you doing here?” Taehyung's  voice echoed through the hall.

Jungkook sighed, rubbing his temples as if he had already regretted stepping inside. “I’m here to…,” he paused for a second , “...TO FUCK YOU.....”

Taehyung froze on the staircase, his half-asleep brain short-circuiting at the words. “Wait, wh-what?!” he sputtered.

Taehyung shouted,  but Jungkook was already heading upstairs, completely ignoring him.

Before Taehyung could process what had just happened, the door swung open again, and Jungwon came in like he owned the place. Taehyung snapped his gaze toward him.

“And what the hell are you doing here?” Taehyung demanded, storming toward Jungwon, who seemed far too relaxed for someone who just walked into enemy territory.

Jungwon grinned and made himself comfortable on the nearest couch. “I let myself in. The door was open.”

Taehyung glared at him. “This isn’t some free-for-all playground where you can just wander in.”

Jungwon stretched out lazily, throwing his legs up on the armrest. “Well, technically, it kind of is now. You know, since our families are working together.”

Taehyung’s face twisted in disbelief. “Working together doesn’t mean you can just walk into my house like it’s a public park! Get your feet off the couch!”

Jungwon smirked. “Make me.”

Jungkook opened the door to YN’s room quietly, stepping inside and letting his eyes adjust to the soft morning light streaming through the curtains.

The familiar scent of her perfume hit him first, causing a rush of memories to flood his mind. They hadn’t seen each other for two years, but here she was, lying peacefully in her bed, her hair scattered across the pillow.

His breath hitched slightly, remembering their time in Japan—the laughter, the stolen moments, the warmth that had once existed between them.

His fists clenched involuntarily. He had never forgotten her, not for a second. But they were enemies now, forced to work together.

Suddenly, YN stirred in her sleep. Her eyelids fluttered, and she turned over. It took her a moment to realize someone was standing behind her bed.

When her eyes fully opened and landed on Jungkook, she flinched, immediately pulling the blanket up as if it could shield her from him.

“Jungkook?!” she exclaimed, her voice sharp with shock. “What the hell are you doing here?”

Jungkook, startled from his thoughts, cleared his throat, trying to maintain his composure. “We’re working together so get ready, We have a meeting.

YN’s heart pounded in her chest. Two years of silence, of avoiding him, and now he was in her room, standing over her like nothing had happened?

“You couldn’t knock first?” she snapped, sitting up quickly, her anger starting to flare.

Jungkook's eyes remained cool, his face betraying no emotion. “Didn’t think it was necessary. Besides, I didn’t plan to stay long.”

YN narrowed her eyes. “Good. Leave, then.”

Jungkook took a step back, his expression hardening. “Five minutes. Don’t be late,” he said, his voice firm before he turned around and left, closing the door behind him with a soft click.

Jungwon chuckled and patted the empty space next to him on the couch. “Come on, sit down hyung.

Taehyung glared at him for a second, then reluctantly flopped down on the opposite couch. “I swear, if we survive this mission without killing each other, it’ll be a miracle.
