3 MONTHS LATER:
In the grand hall of the prestigious hotel room. Mr. Kim and Mr. Jeon, the heads of two powerful and rival families, sat sternly on opposite ends of a lavish couch. Beside them stood their sons, Taehyung next to Mr. Kim, and Jungwon beside Mr. Jeon. The air was thick with tension, as both families awaited the words that would either divide or unite them.
In front of them, Jungkook stood tall, his hand firmly gripping YN’s, as if silently declaring his unwavering support and love for her. YN, standing beside him, felt her pulse quicken, but she drew strength from Jungkook’s steady presence.
Breaking the silence, Jungkook spoke, his voice strong and clear, "I and YN love each other. We want to get married." His words were simple but powerful, and he tightened his grip on YN’s hand, glancing at her reassuringly.
A silence followed his declaration, before Mr. Kim’s booming voice echoed through the room, "No!" His eyes flashed with anger as he stood up abruptly, glaring at both of them. "I will never approve of this marriage!" He turned his gaze sharply to YN. "YN, what do you think of yourself? Do you think I’ll accept this? You want me to approve of you both?" His voice was filled with a mixture of disappointment and fury.
Mr. Jeon, sitting across from him, spoke up next, his tone just as cold. "Jungkook, you know our families have been enemies for years. What makes you think I would ever approve of this marriage?"
As the fathers’ disapproval rang out, Taehyung added his voice to the opposition. "No, even I won’t accept this marriage." His tone was firm, and when YN turned her sharp, icy glare towards him, he met it with a challenging look.
But Jungkook was unfazed. His love for YN was stronger than the disapproval in the room. "We love each other truly," Jungkook said, his voice calm but resolute. "And we’ll do anything to be together." He stood his ground, his love for YN unwavering in the face of their families’ anger.
Amidst the seriousness of the moment, Jungwon, Jungkook’s younger brother, suddenly chimed in, his eyes twinkling with admiration. "Wow, hyung, you're so cool!" he exclaimed, sounding almost amused by the drama unfolding before him.
Taehyung, already irritated by the situation, shot a death glare at Jungwon. "Don't look at me like that, I know I'm handsome," Jungwon quipped, grinning cheekily. The tension in the room briefly shifted to a lighter tone as Jungwon tried to defuse the seriousness with humor.
But Mr. Kim was in no mood for jokes. "Enough!" he roared, silencing the room once more. He moved toward YN, his eyes filled with disappointment. "YN, you have to choose," he demanded, his voice low but forceful. "Do you want to be with me, your family, or with him?"
YN winced at his words, torn between the love she had for her father and her love for Jungkook. She tried to convince her father, her voice pleading but respectful, "Dad, please try to understand. Jungkook and I—"
Before she could finish, a sudden burst of laughter interrupted the tension in the room. All eyes turned toward Mr. Jeon, who was laughing heartily, shaking his head in amusement. The serious atmosphere evaporated as Mr. Kim furrowed his brow in confusion.
Mr. Kim stormed over to Mr. Jeon, looking utterly perplexed. "Yah! Can’t you act seriously for a few seconds?"
Mr. Jeon, still chuckling, waved him off. "Sorry, sorry," he managed between laughs. "But your act was so terrible, I couldn’t help it!"
Mr. Jeon and Mr. Kim had planned this as some elaborate test or joke, but Mr. Jeon had broken character too soon. YN and Jungkook exchanged confused glances, while Taehyung and Jungwon stood there in disbelief.
Mr. Kim sighed, rolling his eyes at Mr. Jeon. "You ruined it."
Mr. Kim, still shaking his head at the whole situation, looked at YN and Jungkook with a knowing smile. "We know you both love each other already," he said, his voice softer now. "We’ve known for a while."
Mr. Jeon nodded, chiming in. "We both know what happened in the past," he said, glancing at Mr. Kim. "We talked about this before, but we never found the right time to bring you two together."
"Then that damn Xin got involved, messing up our plans," Mr. Jeon added, his voice rising slightly as he recalled the troublemaker. "But yeah, it’s all been part of our plan." He sat back proudly, his chest puffed out, looking extremely pleased with himself. "And I have to say, it worked perfectly."
All the members in the room, especially Jungkook and YN, stood in complete shock.
Jungwon, always quick to speak, turned to Taehyung and asked, "Yah, hyung, did you know about this too? Was your whole act part of the plan?"
Taehyung, who had been quiet during most of the reveal, simply smirked. "Yeah, I knew," he said smugly. "Now, what do you think of my acting skills?" he asked with a slight grin, clearly fishing for a compliment.
Jungwon, unimpressed, burst out laughing. "Yah! That was the worst acting I’ve ever seen!" he teased, shaking his head. "I’ve never seen someone so bad at pretending."
At that, both Jungkook and YN couldn’t help but burst into laughter as well. The tension that had once filled the room dissolved completely, replaced by lightheartedness and relief. Everyone else joined in, the entire room filled with the sound of laughter as the weight of months of stress lifted.
In the midst of the laughter, Jungkook suddenly pulled YN into a tight embrace, holding her close. "Ah, finally, it’s all over," he murmured into her hair, his voice filled with relief and happiness.
YN, smiling, hugged him back just as tightly. "Yes," she whispered, her eyes shining with warmth. "It’s finally over."
"NOO......! Its not over"..! Jungwon said while standing beside his father.
