Y/n nodded, her eyes filled with tears but also with a glimmer of hope. For the first time in a long while, she felt like she wasn’t facing her fears alone. Taehyung was with her, every step of the way, and that gave her the strength to keep going. As the night wore on, Taehyung refused to leave Y/n’s side, his hand never leaving hers. The gravity of the situation weighed heavily on him, but he was determined to stay strong for her. The thought of losing Y/n or their baby was unbearable, and he silently vowed to protect them no matter what it took.Y/n, though physically and emotionally exhausted, found solace in Taehyung’s presence. But deep down, fear gnawed at her—fear of the unknown, fear of what might happen if her body couldn’t carry the pregnancy to term.
The next morning, the doctor returned with more details about Y/n’s condition. "We need to be very cautious," she began, her tone gentle but serious. "Endometriosis can make a higher risk of complications, especially as the pregnancy progresses. We’ll need to monitor you closely, Y/n, and there may be moments when we have to make tough decisions."
Taehyung’s heart clenched as he listened, his mind racing with worry. But he kept his focus on Y/n, squeezing her hand gently, trying to reassure her even though he himself was terrified.
"I understand," Y/n said, her voice barely above a whisper. "But I want to fight for our baby."
The doctor nodded, acknowledging Y/n’s bravery. "We’ll do everything we can to support you through this. It won’t be easy, but you’re not alone. We’ll take this one step at a time."
After the doctor left, Taehyung and Y/n sat in silence, the reality of the situation sinking in.
Later that day, as Taehyung held Y/n close, he asked quietly, "Why didn’t you tell me about your father? About everything you went through?"Y/n hesitated, her eyes filling with tears. "I didn’t want to burden you, Taehyung. I thought I could keep it buried, but... I guess some things don’t stay hidden forever."
Taehyung’s heart ached as he looked into her tear-filled eyes. "You’re not a burden, Y/n. You never were. I wish you had told me sooner, so I could’ve helped you through it. I hate that you had to carry this alone."
Y/n shook her head, tears spilling down her cheeks. "I was scared, Tae. Scared of what you might think of me, scared of how you’d look at me if you knew the truth."
Taehyung gently wiped her tears away, his own emotions threatening to overwhelm him. "I love you, Y/n. Nothing you could ever tell me would change that. We’ll face this together, just like we always do."
Y/n nodded, her heart swelling with love and gratitude for the man in front of her. "I love you too, Taehyung. More than anything."
As the days passed, Taehyung and Y/n adjusted to their new reality. However, one night, as Taehyung was about to drift off to sleep, a thought struck him, and his eyes snapped open. He remembered the way Y/n had spoken about her father—the fear in her voice, the pain in her eyes. He couldn’t shake the anger that welled up inside him at the thought of anyone hurting her, especially someone who was supposed to protect her.
Without thinking, he quietly got out of bed and grabbed his keys. His mind was clouded with anger, the only thing he could think about was confronting the man who had caused Y/n so much pain.
But as he reached the door, Y/n’s soft voice stopped him in his tracks. "Taehyung, where are you going?"
He turned to see her sitting up in bed, her eyes wide with concern. "I... I need to do something," he replied, his voice tight.
Y/n immediately understood, and her heart dropped. "Taehyung, please... don’t. It won’t change anything. You promised me..."
Taehyung’s fists clenched at his sides, his jaw tight. "How can I just sit here, knowing what he did to you? He doesn’t deserve to get away with it."
