Author's POV :

Divya, a middle-aged woman with a harried expression, paced around her cozy living room, her chappals clicking on the marble floor. She clutched a jar of sugar in her one hand and holding a spoon with other, muttering to herself.

"So much to do, so little time... How will everything get done?" she muttered to herself.

The aroma of freshly brewed chai wafted from the kitchen, mingling with the sound of Divya's anxious murmurs. Suddenly, Nitin, her husband, entered the kitchen, his calm demeanour a stark contrast to Divya's frantic energy.

"What's wrong, Divya? Why so worried?" he asked her calmly.

"The Arnav's family is coming to finalize the marriage date! Everything must be perfect!" Divya exclaimed.

Nitin placed a soothing hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, everything will fall into place. We've got this."

Divya took a deep breath, slightly calming down. "This is a crucial decision for our Urvi's life. We must ensure she's happy."

Just then, Divya's expression changed, and she hurried towards her daughter Mihika's room.

"Mihika, wake up! Get ready! Arnav's family will be here soon!"

Inside Mihika's room, Divya shook her awake.

"Mihika, up! It's getting late!"

Mihika groggily opened her eyes. "What's the rush, Maa?"

"Urvi's marriage meeting! The groom's family is coming to discuss the wedding date. You need to be presentable."

Mihika rolled her eyes. "Why do I care about Urvi's wedding?"

Divya's expression turned stern. "Mihika, this is your cousin's life-changing moment. Show some respect."

Mihika reluctantly threw off her blanket. "Fine, Maa. I'll get ready."

Divya nodded and exited Mihika's room, calling out:

"Urvi! Get ready! Arnav's family will be here soon to finalize the marriage date!" the sound of Divya's voice echoed through the house, mingling with the morning sounds of awakening.

In Urvi's Room :

Urvi emerged from the bathroom, radiant in a sky-blue frock suit, its intricate embroidery shimmering in the morning light. Her dark hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall of night, contrasting beautifully with her porcelain skin.

With joy radiating from every pore, Urvi began getting ready. She fastened elegant silver earrings, shaped like delicate flowers, onto her lobes. Bangles adorned her wrists, their soft clinking accompanying her every movement. Her fingers sparkled with rings, each one telling a story of love and commitment.

Urvi skillfully applied makeup, enhancing her natural beauty. She defined her eyes with kajal, added a soft blush to her cheeks, and painted her lips a subtle pink. Her hair was styled in loose waves, framing her heart-shaped face.

Finally, Urvi draped her dupatta around her neck, its delicate fabric dancing around her like a gentle breeze. She stood before the mirror, and her reflection took her breath away.

"Urvi, you're a vision," she whispered, smiling.

Her eyes sparkled like stars, shining with happiness. Her full lips curved into a gentle smile, radiating warmth. The blue suit accentuated her slender figure, making her look like a celestial being.

Urvi's gaze lingered on her reflection, lost in thought. "Today's the day... the day Arnav and I have waited for so long. Our marriage date will be finalized, and soon we'll begin our journey together."
