~Alicent~

I lean on Johnny as I watch the small, portable movie player. I yawn slightly, the boring day making me feel exhausted. He yawns as well, shifting his body slightly beneath me and adjusting his arm over my shoulders.

My dad is reading through files that Alejandro sent over, all the information he has on their current problem. Ghost sits across from him, scanning through the papers a little less enthusiastically. They occasionally share a few words, but for the most part the pair are lost in their own minds.

Gaz snores softly in his seat across from Johnny and I. The flight is, thankfully, almost over, then things really pick up. My dad already informed me that the base is short on nurses and doctors, and they are excited to welcome me in.

I enjoy the thought of landing and immediately getting new patients, ensuring I can stay busy while continuing to treat and help the soldiers feel better. "You're telling me they replaced the dog?" Johnny mumbles, leaning close as he whispers in my ear.

His hot breath pans over my skin, a slight shiver making way down my spine as goosebumps cover my skin. "Yeah, I didn't like it either," I reply softly, eyes still on the screen as move plays.

Bolt was always a childhood favorite, and hearing that Johnny had never watched it was not something I could let slide. "Fuckin' dumbasses," he scoffs, leaning back once more as the replacement dog freaks out, running around the movie screen and causing chaos.

I smile slightly, sighing as I shift, stretching my back before settling against him once more. His hand rubs softly up from my hip to my lower torso, then back down before resettling on my hip.

"10 minutes, sir," the Pilot calls back to my father, who lifts a hand in acknowledgement. "Finally," Johnny sighs, his chest rumbling on my ear as he slides out from under me, standing and stretching.

I stretch from my seat, watching as Johnny wakes Gaz, and the others stand and start gathering their bags to depart the small plane. I can feel us descending, before touching down and rolling to a stop. I swing on my back pack, grabbing my duffle bag next, and heading towards the exit.

I shield by face from the harsh sunlight as I climb down the stairs, blinking and adjusting before glancing around.

"Captain!" A happy voice greets, and I spot a man approaching, whom I assume is Alejandro. I fall into place besides Ghost as my dad walks up and greets the man. The man then turns and hugs Johnny, who also seems happy to see him.

I adjust my bag on my shoulder as I glance around. The base is small, smaller then our own, with a few men walking around. My attention is snapped back to the people around me when the weight of my duffle bag is removed from my arm.

I glance up as Ghost swings it over his own arm, not bothering to glance at me. "Thanks," I say quietly. He hums shortly in response, straightening his back as my dad comes over with Alejandro.

"Lieutenant Ghost," he introduces, Ghost nodding and holding out his hand as his name is said. "Pleasure, names' Alejandro," the man greets back with a grin. They then turn towards me, and I smile softly towards the new man.

"Alicent," I introduce myself, my father smiling towards me. "She is the medic I mentioned," he adds. "Pleasure to meet you, Amor," Alejandro greets, taking my outstretched hand and placing a soft peck on the back of it. (Love)

I blush slightly, nodding in greeting and smiling as he drops my hand and looks back towards my dad. "My second in command will show you to your rooms," he informs, waving over someone. The man he is motioning for quickly ends his conversation, jogging over to us.
