A new job offer

An investigation of the shootings of King Midas and his men were rules justified Hondo, Tori, Ryder, and Travis were cleared. A few weeks later, Tori was promoted to Lieutenant with her friends being there for her. They were together again for the first time in years. After the ceremony getting her bars, everyone hugged her with Cat being first telling her Thank You for being there for me, Jade said, "OK let go Cat, I want to hug Tori," Tori said, "Never thought you would say that," Jade said, "Shut up and Hug me, Lieutenant," which she did. Then she hugged and kissed Robbie and hugged Beck, Trina, and Andre who said, "Thank You for saving me," Tori said, "No problem," Then her dad came and said, "Congrats Lieutenant," and hugged his daughter. Tori said, "Thank You Everyone," 

Later on, Cat and Robbie went along together and Cat said, "Robbie, I am so sorry for what I did to you," Robbie said, "I forgive you, what's done is done. We're moved on and doing OK," Cat said, "Well maybe I can help you guys do a lot better, I have a meeting with Tori tomorrow afternoon about a potential job offer," Robbie said, "What is the job?" Cat said, "You'll hear about it when Tori tells you," Robbie said, "Is it a record contract?" Cat said, "Maybe," Robbie said, "Good luck, she enjoys being a police officer though she would consider it if it was a record deal," Cat said, "I can only give her an offer,"   

The next day, Tori visited Midas Records as Cat and Andre became co-CEO of the record label as they tried to fix the mess left by Midas and his criminal misdeeds. Tori went the office that use to belong to Sean Midas now being used by Cat Valentine while Andre had his own office. Seeing that they were busy, Tori said, "Is this a good time? I can always come back," Cat went over to Tori to hug her. Tori said, "I did miss your hugs but seriously what is this about?" Cat let go of Tori and said, "How would you like to work here?" Tori said, "WHAT!!?" Andre said, "How would you want to be the new head of security? I'm sure you are happy being a cop but this is a six-figure and you can be home more often to Robbie and Brian," Tori said, "Is it a 9-5 job?" Andre said, "More like 8-6 but we can arrange 9-5 and have the weekends off barring anything major which is rare," Cat said, "and you get a million-dollar signing bonus," Shocking both Tori and Andre.

Andre said, "That seems way too much to pay for a Head of Security, we're already going to pay her a quarter of a million dollars a year," Cat said, "We owe her after we picked him over her a decade ago and it still isn't enough. Not to mention we already spent millions for a Movie/TV studio headed by Sinjin and funding Jade's latest movie about two uniformed officers looking for a serial killer and the bonus I'm paying for Tori is coming out of my accounts, not the companies. Not to mention, we're planning to change the name of the label which will cost us millions of dollars,"  

Tori said, "What will you guys rename the label to?" Andre said, "We're working on a few names like Gold Records, Golden Records, or Comeback Records which I'll admit the last one is the favorite," Tori said, "I do like Comeback Records," Cat said, "Will you join us? Not to mention that we can also sign you to a record deal if you're interested in recording an album. Please say yes. I don't want to lose you again," as she hugged Tori again. Tori said, "Let go Cat," Cat let go and Tori said, "Can I think about it?" Cat said, "Of course," Andre said, "The offer will still stand and I know it won't erase the past but it's the least we can do and make the future better," Tori said, "OK, bye guys," 

Tori went back to her station and checked if she could talk about her dad who decided to see her and told his assistant to let her in his office, Tori came in, closed the door, and saluted her dad who said, "At ease, Lieutenant. Please sit," Tori sat down. Chief Vega said, "What did Cat and Andre want?" Tori said, "They want me to be their head of Security of Midas Records or whatever their going to rename it and they also want me to record an album," Her Dad said, "That's awesome, did you say yes?" Tori said, "I said I would think about it," Her dad said, "Really? it's a great opportunity and you get to spend more time with Robbie and Brian, make more money, and would be less dangerous,"

Tori confused said, "Did they tell you they were offering me the job?" Her dad said, "They did and they also offered me a consulting job there," Tori said, "Are you going to take it?" Chief Vega said, "Well, I might as well tell you this. I am planning to retire soon. Either in the next few days or the end of this year. I miss retirement and I do want to be there you, Trina, and my grandkids. Unsure if this will influence your decision but I made my decision. Plus, I feel like you don't want to be in this job anymore," 

Tori said, "It's not that, it's I do want to be there for Brian and I feel like every time I'm in patrol, I chances decrease. I have no problem during desk work. However, I just became a Lieutenant a few days ago. It would be silly for me to just up and leave. A part of me wants to stay for 13 more years," Her dad said, "Stay on for a little bit then leave. Plus you can always be a reserve officer and do that for 13 years and retire from the LAPD. I like I said, it's a great opportunity and it seems like they do want to make amends for what happened a decade ago," Tori said, "I do have a lot to think over," Chief Vega said, "Take your time, Lieutenant," Tori left her dad's office.

Later that night, Tori and Robbie were at their bed with Tori said, "What should I do?" Robbie said, "I say take the job with Cat and Andre. Is Jade going to be involved?" Tori said, "I'm sure she will be, I wouldn't doubt she would take over with Sinjin to be the movie studio, Why do you want me to take the job?" Robbie said, "It's less risky than your current job. Not to mention it would be more money, spend more time with me and Brian, and Cat said she would add a Lambo to the deal,"       

Tori said, "She has made a lot of money selling off his things. Like I told my dad, I have a lot to think about." Robbie said, "Understand." Tori and Robbie kissed each other good night and went to bed.

A month later, the Vegas' made it official. They were leaving the LAPD for Midas Records though Tori was staying on as a reserve officer. Tori and her dad received a lot of well wishes including from Ryder that the LAPD wasn't going to be the same without her. Tori was happy to work with her friends again and spend more time with her family.
