The girl ran up the royal steps and into her castle. As she walked in, her father batted his eyes at her before going back to his paperwork. Hailie bolted up the stairs and to her room dropping off her bag and running back out. "Just gotta remember where it's at..." Hailie mumbled to herself, as she skimmered her hand across one of the walls.
"Where's what at?" Xavier asked, appearing right behind her.
"The library." Hailie answered, jumping a little when Xavier appeared but not too bad.
"Hails. It's on the other side of-" Xavier began to say.
"Not that library." The princess interrupted, finally finding what she was looking for. "This one." She added, pushing a hidden button in the wall. The began to deconstruct itself into a mental vault door, as it opened inwards. It showed a massive library with flying books and magic dust filling the air.
"Whoa..." The black haired knight uttered in awe, as he and Hailie stepped inside. The door closed behind them and turned back into the regular berry red colored wall. "How come I've never seen this!?!?" Xavier yelped, as he ran around trying to look at everything.
"My mother built it and made sure to keep it hidden, especially from father. This was her study on the magical side of things. She used a bit of her magic to do it, " Hailie explained, "She made sure to organize everything and have living books to keep them in check."
"Huh. Never would've thought that books would be the ones to take care of other books."
"What a world we live in. Right?" The two started laughing, as the books zoomed over their heads. "We're in the Whisperwood section. Meaning that everything here is about Whisperwood and their magical abilities. Like this one here." Hailie said, grabbing a book and handing it to her trusty knight. It was brown and it had a hardcover, it also looked to be thousands of years old. The intricate design on the spine of the book was amazing, gold paint lined the carvings and made a story. The book was titled "The Life of The King" and showed a crown on the figure on the front.
"Cool." Xavier replied. "How many sections are there?"
"Six sections. Each section was dedicated to me and my siblings. This is dedicated to Lunar. She was the one most interesting in the other kingdoms as well as witchcraft." Hailie answered happily.
"Hm. I always thought that purple haired girl was more into chaos than all of this." The knight responded, skimming through the prologue and the first chapter.
"Hey!" --Hits Xavier in the head-- "Don't say that about her!" Hailie snapped back defensively.
"Right, right. Sorry! Forgot you were overprotective of them." Xavier mumbled softly.
"Come on. We need to head to my section." Hailie added, as she began walking again.
"And what would that be about? Kicking people's ass?" The knight joked, as he stood up with the book still in his hand.
"Goddesses and Gods. That's what I loved as a kid." Hailie corrected.
"Oh... What about the others?" Xavier asked, following the princess down a hallway.
"Well, Draco was the one into machines and weapons. Surprising right?" The blue hooded girl answered while giggling.
"Really? The weapon expert and gun freak had that theme for his section~? Would've never guessed." Xavier played along, making them both laugh.
"Gold's section is about designs and fashion making. It's where she got most of her clothing ideas for her industry and retail." Hailie continued, tears of laughter in her eyes. "Rainbow's section is the one about baking, since she loved sweets as a kid, and strategies. Since she led most of the wars when she went to different universes."
