The streets were filled with gossip about the upcoming war. As the princess walked down the sidewalk, the people quieted down. They just stared at her until she was gone, then they started talking again. That's what made her really mad, as she continued towards her castle.

"Hailie. Maybe this isn't the best way to deal with this problem." Bray stated, following the anger filled girl onto the stairway to the castle's entrance. All the others did the same, trying to stop her but to no avail. All but one.

"I say we let her beat the shit out of her dad." Kamryn opposed, her eyes red and her hair jet black. This usually happens when she's in her 'don't fucking come near her' form. Nightshade's eyes were the same color as Kamryn's, because they shared emotions, and had the same enthusiasm.

"SHUT UP KAM!" The others hollered back angrily. She shot them an angry stare.

Hailie was blocking out all of them, once she reached the top of the stairwell, Luke greeted her. "Hey princesa~ You mad your dad is starting a war?" Luke teased his dirty blonde hair dripping over his eyes. Hailie completely ignored the knight and tried to walk into the castle. "Your dad's busy, he can't be bothered." Luke grabbed Hailie's arm, trying to push his face closer to hers.

"Well. Looks like we're doing this the hard way." Hailie replied. The princess rammed her head right into the knight's face, knocking him down. Once Luke's nose started bleeding and his face frozen in terror and shock, Hailie kicked in the palace door. "DAD!!!!" She hollered.

Everyone in the castle went silent and turned to the girl, as Hailie's father rose up from his throne. He stood at six foot one, his hair was black and his beard was frizzy. His eyes were a very dark brown, with a red tint to them. He was wearing his royal rich red cape, and his normal king clothes. On his legs were a layer of armor and a holder of a sword on his left side. His golden crown sat on top of his head steadily, as he put his hands behind his back. "Not now, daughter, as you can see. I'm in a very important meeting. We need them to tell the other kingdoms to join our side." Deidamia sighed, his voice rough and annoyed. Like always...

"Join our side huh?" Hailie responded, her hands clenched together.

"What do you mean? We have a war to prepare for." The king answered.

"Heh... A war... A FUCKING WAR!!! You mean the war you started, right!?!? They haven't even done anything to us, you're just starting a war to just kill King Irving's people!" Hailie replied, her gaze still filled with anger. She marched into the castle, her Azure blue eyes glued to her father. Her friends rushed into the main entrance, realizing it's too late to stop this from happening.

"Fuck him up! Fuck him up!" Kamryn started chanting, as she and the others started watching the argument emerge.

Deidamia gawked at the sight of Kamryn and Nightshade. The others he didn't mind, but her. "She shouldn't be here," He started, pointing his index finger at the half elf, "Soon she'll have to leave, I fear that she'll spy on us."

"She ain't doing shit!" Hailie hollered back, catching her father's attention. "Because you ain't starting a war. We have done nothing to Whisperwood and vice versa! This will only end in disaster." Hailie answered.

"They murdered Mrs. Jino." The king replied.

"They would've never hurt her..." Hailie began, "Call off the war."

"Is that an order?" Deidamia questioned, as he walked up to his daughter. As he was doing so, Hailie stayed silent. "Answer me... Is that an order!?" He roared, only two feet away from her.

"And what if it is?" Hailie replied.

"You don't want to do this girl." Her father grumbled.

Why? Because you're scared of a little girl, dumbass? Hailie wanted to say aloud but stopped herself from doing so. "Is that so?" She said instead with a lot more attitude than before.

"Your majesties." Xavier charmed in, "can we slow down a bit an-" He tried to continue.

"Shut up Mr. Thronefield. You're not important right now, peasant." Lord Deidamia interrupted.

Hailie's anger rose up even more once her father said that. Her hands fisted up into a ball, as she grinded her teeth together. "How about you shut up instead ya pig!" She snapped, everyone in the room looked shocked.

"What did you just say..."

"You heard me father."

The king grabbed his sword and brought it to his daughter's neck, as Hailie wrapped the chain of the kusarigama around her father's entire body until the blade was touching his neck. Most of her siblings' weapons were enchanted, making their limits lower than the original weapon. "Your move, your Highness." Hailie growled, as she inched her blade closer to her fathers neck and the king did the same to her.

"Both of you enough!" Alexis hollered separating the two. Hailie tried to rush back towards her father and beat the shit out of him, but was held back by Bray and Alex.

"May I say something." A female voice spoke softly. Pamela, Xavier's mother and a royal house keeper. One of Hailie's favorites because she was exactly like her mother. Kind, gentle and forgiving. She was closest to the queen, so she learned those traits from her. Pamela was also Hailie's godparent if anything happened to her father. She had long black hair and gold eyes. The housekeeper was also wearing a white headband and a medieval midwife outfit.

"Hey mom." Xavier greeted softly. His mother smiled back at him, before looking at the two royal members.

"What do you want, woman?" The king roared harshly.

"It's been a long day for both of you. I just simply ask that you listen to her for now and wait until Whisperwood makes the first move. That will make you look like an amazing king, right?" Pamela continued, "And that will happen as long as you go to school. Right Hailie?"

"Yeah Mrs.Thornfield." Answered Hailie politely.

"Well yes." --Darts his eyes at Hailie-- "As long as my daughter so humbly apologizes to me right this instant." Lord Deidamia replied.

This bitch... Hailie thought as she glared at her father. "My apologies." She said with her teeth clenched together tightly.

"Then it's settled. Come now child, it's time for bed." The housekeeper commanded, using her left hand to softly shoo the others away. Though reluctant, Kamryn, Nightshade, Alex and Bray all left the castle. While Alexis and Xavier followed after Hailie and Pamela.

"Thank you Mrs.Thornfield. I'll make sure you and Xavier are paid handsomely for saving my life just then." Hailie smiled for once, as she walked to her room.

"Just be careful next time." Pamela answered.

"Goodnight guys." Hailie stated.

" 'Night." The others replied, as the princess shut her door.

Once she heard the footsteps get quieter and quieter, Hailie screamed fiercely. "That guy I swear I'm going to lose my mind!" She groaned.

No one asked you sis. Another one argued.

Soon there were too many to count, as they all started yelling at each other. "Enough!" Hailie yelped, and they went silent. She undressed and put on her dark blue pajamas. She layed down and closed her eyes. Letting the darkness around her consume her until she started dreaming.

Outside of the castle...

"What happened to keeping it a secret?" A voice said to James.

"I-I didn't know she was the freak's friend. I-I swear it will never happen again." James replied, his voice shaking along with his entire body.

"Oh. I know it won't." The voice answered, as he stabbed James in the chest.

"I-I..." James uttered before falling to the ground dead. The voice laughed at the sight, as he turned around and walked away.

"Soon... Everyone will meet the same fate..." The voice chuckled, fading into the darkness from once it came.
