Valentine's Day dawned cold but clear, the bright winter sun casting a soft glow over Hogwarts. Fidelity woke up with a flutter of excitement in her chest. Today was special-not just because it was Valentine's Day, but because she was spending it with Noah.

The entire castle buzzed with a giddy energy, hearts and flowers adorning every hallway. As Fidelity dressed, choosing a long, flowy, maroon dress paired with a mossy green sweater, her excitement built. It had been a few weeks since she and Noah had spent that unintentional yet significant night together in the Room of Requirement. Since then, things had deepened between them, their bond growing stronger with each passing day. Valentine's Day falling on a Hogsmeade weekend made the timing feel perfect.

She made her way downstairs, planning to meet Noah outside by the entrance to the castle. As she stepped into the courtyard, the chill in the air nipped at her cheeks, turning them pink. Snow dusted the ground, shimmering in the bright light, making everything feel ethereal. And then she saw him.

Noah stood by the gates, effortlessly handsome in his button-down and slacks, layered under a winter coat, his dark hair tousled by the wind. But what caught her attention most were the flowers in his hand-a stunning bouquet of blue and white forget-me-nots, mingled with delicate lilies of the valley. Her heart skipped a beat as she approached him, her smile widening with every step.

"Happy Valentine's Day, Fidi," Noah said softly, his eyes warm.

Fidelity's breath caught as she took in the bouquet. "Noah, these are beautiful," she murmured, her fingers brushing his as she accepted them.

"I remembered you said lilies of the valley were your favorite," he replied, a soft smile on his lips. "And the forget-me-nots... well, blue's your favorite color. Seemed fitting."

Her heart melted at his thoughtfulness. Unable to find the right words, she leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "Thank you, Noah. They're perfect. You're the first person to ever give me flowers."

He gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "You deserve them."

With her bouquet clutched close, they set off toward Hogsmeade, hand in hand. The village soon came into view, its cobblestone streets coated in a light layer of snow, the shops decorated festively with Valentine's wreaths and charmed hearts fluttering through the air.

Their first stop was Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop, the cozy café exuding warmth and romance with twinkling fairy lights and lace-trimmed curtains. Inside, the air was sweet with the scent of spiced tea and freshly baked pastries. Small tables were scattered about, adorned with delicate teacups and plates of heart-shaped confections. Above, enchanted heart-shaped confetti drifted lazily in the air, setting the scene.

Noah led her to a table near the window, where they could watch the snow softly falling outside. "I've never been here before," Noah admitted, pulling out a chair for her.

Fidelity smiled as she sat down. "Neither have I. It's so quaint, don't you think?"

"It's perfect for today," he agreed.

A house-elf soon appeared with a pot of steaming tea and a tray of pastries-light, airy scones with clotted cream and jam, along with chocolate-dipped strawberries. They chatted easily, their conversation flowing just as it always did, punctuated by soft laughter and glances that made Fidelity's heart flutter. Between the delicious food and the warm atmosphere, it felt like they were in their own little world.

As they finished their tea, Noah's eyes sparkled with mischief. "I've got another surprise for you."

Fidelity's curiosity piqued as he led her outside into the crisp winter air. They wandered hand in hand through the village, the chilly breeze unable to dampen their excitement. Their next stop was Honeydukes, where the intoxicating scent of sugar greeted them as soon as they walked through the door.

Fidelity's eyes lit up at the sight of the colorful rows of sweets. "It smells amazing in here."

Noah grinned, holding up a small box of Chocolate Frogs. "Something for the road?"

Fidelity chuckled as she picked out a handful of Fizzing Whizzbees, laughing when Noah grabbed a few Exploding Bonbons in return. But as they left the shop, instead of heading toward Zonko's as she had expected, Noah took a different path.

"Where are we going?" she asked, her curiosity growing.

Noah smiled mysteriously. "You'll see."

A few minutes later, they stood in front of Tomes and Scrolls, the village's beloved bookstore. Fidelity's heart skipped as she looked up at the familiar sign.

"I know how much you love books," Noah said, watching her with a soft smile.

Fidelity's chest warmed. "You really do know me."

Inside, the comforting scent of parchment and ink enveloped them. They wandered between the shelves, pausing to flip through pages of new and old books alike. Noah stood close by her side, the quiet moments between them as meaningful as the conversation they shared earlier. When Fidelity picked out a book on magical creatures she had been meaning to read, Noah insisted on buying it for her despite her protests.

As the afternoon began to give way to evening, the sky turned a soft pink, the sun dipping behind the mountains. Noah led her to a secluded courtyard that overlooked the castle and the highlands beyond. A dragon-shaped plant with its wings spread wide loomed nearby, catching the last rays of sunlight as lanterns flickered to life, casting a warm glow over the scene. Snow covered the ground, making everything seem even more magical.

Fidelity shivered slightly as they settled onto a bench, and without a word, Noah pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her to shield her from the cold. She leaned into him, resting her head against his chest, the steady rhythm of his heartbeat calming her. The world felt quiet and still, the peacefulness of the moment settling around them like a blanket.

"Are you happy?" Noah asked softly, his breath warm against her hair as he brushed a stray lock behind her ear.

Fidelity lifted her head to meet his gaze, her breath visible in the chilly air. "More than I can put into words," she whispered.

His smile was tender, his eyes full of love as he tilted her chin up gently. "Good. Because I love you, Fidi. More than anything."

Her heart swelled with emotion. "I love you too, Noah. So much."

Their lips met in a soft, lingering kiss. It was sweet, filled with all the unspoken emotions between them. The cold seemed to melt away, leaving only the warmth of their closeness. When they pulled back, they stayed in each other's embrace, their foreheads touching.

Noah kissed her again, softly, then placed another on her nose, making her giggle. "I can't imagine spending this day with anyone else," she whispered.

"Neither can I," he replied, his voice full of sincerity.

As the sky darkened and the first stars began to twinkle overhead, they remained on the bench, simply enjoying the peacefulness of the moment. The lanterns cast a warm glow over the snow, the soft light making the entire courtyard feel like their own personal haven.

Eventually, knowing they had to return, they reluctantly stood, their fingers still entwined. Noah walked her back to the castle, their hands never leaving each other's grasp. When they reached the entrance, he pressed a lingering kiss to her forehead.

"Happy Valentine's Day, Fidi."

"Happy Valentine's Day, Noah," she replied, smiling up at him.

With one final, soft kiss, they parted ways, heading back to their respective common rooms. As Fidelity descended to the Hufflepuff basement, still holding the bouquet of flowers close, she couldn't help but feel like her heart was fuller than it had ever been.
