The beginning of something??

I got the idea for this one from a writing prompt from Pinterest. It's in the picture thing above.

My OC for today.

Reidun is a dragon rider. She rides a hobblegrunt named Scuddle. Scuddle is purple with blue markings.

In this one shot, Viggo captured Berk in the episode "Dire Straits"

We lost. Me, the gang, Stoick, and Gobber were being held in the great hall. We don't know how the people of Berk are being treated, or the A team, and our dragons... we don't even know if they're alive.

The worst part is that I helped them. The hunters, I helped Viggo.

Scuttle rarely went completely red, but right now his scales were the color of crimson blood. The hunters were attacking Berk and we have been in the mists of a battle for almost a full day now. My home is falling, I can see Hiccup and Toothless, hear the plasma blasts, but even with a nightfury... it's not enough. The ship blew up, it was a large explosion than Scuttle's normal blasts. Monstrous nightmare gel.
Hunters swam away from the burning ship but the water itself seemed to be on fire, zippleback gas.
"Dive boy" Scuttle pulled in his wings and dived down towards the hunter ship we had just destroyed. We went under water, pulling unconscious hunters put of the raging sea and into the few row boats that the hunters had. This ship was farther out than the rest I didn't realize why until I pulled a man with short dark brown hair out of the water. Viggo Grimborn. He was unconscious. "Scuttle go to th....th..the Great Hall...quick" I held Viggo's arms trying to keep him on my dragon as much as possible. With Viggo we could force the hunters away. The Great hall was in sight when I realized Viggo wasn't breathing. Me and Scuddle landed, I knew how to resuscitate someone, it was in the training to become a rider. I watched him cough up water, he was bleeding from a gash on his head. For a moment I wondered if I should have let him die... it's wrong but how many people has he killed? Dragons? Letting him die wouldn't stop the hunters but it would make them beatable without Viggo's mastermind.

I was brought out of my stupor with the cold metal of Viggo's dagger to my neck and in that moment I knew I made a mistake.... again.

Once Viggo used me as leverage to make Hiccup and Stoick surrender they split us up from our Dragons and the people of Berk. I told Hiccup and the others what happened and he assured me I did the right thing. Leaving him to die...would make me just as bad but now all I have done is enabled him to do whatever he wants to with us. Now all I can hope is that Hiccup will find a way out of my mistake. Again. But he always does.

"Well just you wait hunter scum one day we will rise! Rise! Rise I say! RISE AND CONQUER!" Tuffnut screamed from where he was tied to a wooden pillar.

I wish I could have his confidence then I could at least try something. The hunters laughed, Stoick stopped talking to the hunters a while ago, only talking to the ones in charge. They took our weapons, Hiccup and Gobber’s prosthetics, and our armor. Viggo was too good and now our only chance of getting him out of the game was ruined by me.

“Viggo,” The sound of Hiccup’s voice caused me to look up.

Viggo wore a fur cloak instead of his usual spiked shoulder pads, he also lost the spiked belt and his armor, instead wearing a black tunic and gray pants and a leather belt. He didn't even have his sword. He looked strange without it. Like he was a normal man and not Viggo Grimborn, chief of the dragon hunters and a notorious businessman
He crossed the room in a few strides and nodded wordlessly at the guards who somehow knew to leave. He stood silently for a moment while his men left. Once the room was empty he looked down at his prisoner, his brown eyes locked with my own for a brief moment before I looked back down at the ground.

“What do you want Viggo?” Hiccup growled. I've never seen Hiccup so angry before and how calm Stoick has been…it's scarier than the situation.

Viggo didn't reply immediately, instead he waited a few seconds. It was a tactic that forced the conversation to happen at your own pace, his terms. “I do believe I haven't formally expressed my gratitude for Miss Tyresen for saving my life”

Out of the corner of my eye I could see Astrid trying to shift to look at him, “What do you want Viggo,” She growled. I kept my gaze down, maybe he would just leave. I can hope.

“Mm, quite the protective bunch are you?” He kneeled down in front of me, I could almost hear my heart beating in my ears.

“Viggo if you hav-” Stoick was making an active effort to keep his temper, that was clear, in this situation we didn't have the power. No ability to negotiate or fight and we lost our power to do that with me.

“I simply came to express my gratitude for Miss Tyresen saving my life,” I could feel everyone's eyes on me, “Now if you would allow me, I have a feeling there could be a mutual interest in whatever agreement Miss Tyresen and I come up with,”

What does that mean? Agreement? Why would he want to make an agreement with me? There was a lengthy silence where they were Waiting on Me to answer, “...Wha..what do…you mean?”

“Ah, there you are. My dear I feared you had gone mute,” He chuckled, I bit my lip during the presuming silence. “My apologies dear, but I can not see your face. Between that and your lack of word…I can not get a read on you,”

I tried to look at Hiccup but I couldn't see him with the way my hair hung over my downward cast face. What do I do?

“Dear?” His fingers touched my chin, tilting my face to look at him. My mind and body alike froze. “There we are dear. Miss Tyresen, I would wish to speak with you, is that okay?”

“...am..I…i…allowed t…t..t..” I shut my mouth and tried to look away but Viggo's hand stopped me.

“To say no?” I nodded, “of course, but it would be in you and your friend's best interest to say otherwise,” I looked at Hiccup, he gave me a small reluctant nod which I gave Viggo who smiled, “Good,” He pulled out a knife-I flinched, he held his hands up in a surrendering motion, “Do not fret, Miss Tyresen, I merely wish to free you of your binds, may I?” When I nodded he swiftly cut the rope. With my hands free I pulled them close to me and rubbed my wrists out of instinct.

When I looked up I saw his outstretched hand, “Come now dear, we have much to discuss”
