The tension in the pavilion was slowly beginning to dissipate as Jormund stood before Queen Coral and her council. Tsunami stayed close to Jormund, her stance protective, and she could feel a flicker of hope. The fact that Jormund had manifested Hypergenesis helped sway the council—if only slightly—in their understanding that something extraordinary was at play.

But the moment of relative calm was abruptly interrupted.

Suddenly, a group of SeaWing guards entered, their eyes filled with concern and urgency. Between them was a badly injured SeaWing, limping heavily, his scales dull from what appeared to be a mix of exhaustion and trauma.

The entire council turned to look, Queen Coral's eyes narrowing as she assessed the new arrival. Jormund quickly glanced back, and Tsunami instinctively moved a little closer, her wings half-spread protectively.

"Who dares disrupt the council without permission?" Queen Coral snapped, though her tone lacked its usual bite. It was clear that something serious had happened.

"Your Majesty," one of the guards said, bowing as best as he could while supporting the injured SeaWing. "This warrior has urgent information from the Sky Kingdom. He was part of the scouting mission."

The injured SeaWing raised his head, and Jormund caught a glimpse of his expression—one of despair and fatigue. Something about his eyes looked familiar, a certain determination that reminded Jormund of someone he had recently met.

Tsunami leaned closer to Jormund, whispering, "That must have been one of the scouting parties we sent out to keep an eye on the SkyWing forces. It must be serious if he came back like this."

The SeaWing guards helped the wounded soldier up to the council, and Queen Coral gestured for him to speak. "What news do you bring?" she asked, her voice softer now, more concerned.

The injured SeaWing swallowed and began to speak, his voice shaky but determined. "Your Majesty, we... we were attacked. We were a war party tasked with scouting the borders of the SkyWing Kingdom. But they knew we were coming. We were ambushed." He winced, his side aching, but continued. "The attackers... they weren't just SkyWings. There were three different groups."

"Three groups?" Whirlpool interjected, his eyes narrowing with suspicion. "What do you mean by that?"

The SeaWing nodded painfully. "The first group consisted of half SandWings, clearly allies to the SkyWings, but they fought like they were trained by someone else." He paused, taking a moment to catch his breath. "The second group... they were fighting for their Queen. The SkyWings, loyal to Queen Scarlet. But it was the third group that took us by surprise."

Queen Coral leaned forward, her eyes narrowing. "Explain," she demanded.

The injured SeaWing took another shaky breath. "The third group was shouting something different. They were shouting, 'For Queen Ruby!' And they attacked the SkyWings, too. It was chaos." He seemed to struggle to find the right words. "It was almost like... a civil war."

Whispers broke out among the council members. Queen Coral exchanged a quick glance with Tsunami, who seemed equally puzzled. Shark's expression was stern, a mix of suspicion and concern on his face.

"Queen Ruby?" Lagoon mused aloud, clearly puzzled. "But isn't Queen Scarlet in full control of the SkyWing Kingdom?"

The injured SeaWing took another breath, his voice shaky but growing softer as he recalled one more detail. "There was something else. During the battle, I saw... a scavenger. But he wasn't like the others." The SeaWing's expression darkened. "He was lurking in the shadows, just watching. His presence felt ominous. He didn't engage in the fight, but I felt... like he was waiting for something. Something about him was unnatural. He was heading towards the SeaWing borders after the battle."
