To heal your heart, you must let go,
Release the love that brings you woe.
A flame that burns, yet brings you pain,
Is not a love worth to sustain. Her touch, her words, once sweet and bright,
Now shadowed by the endless night.
Let memories fade like morning dew,
For there's a world outside of you.Don't cling to dreams that bring despair,
For love should breathe in open air.
So turn away from what's untrue,
And let your heart find skies anew.In time, your wounds will slowly mend,
And peace will greet you like a friend.
The love you seek, though lost today,
Will find you in a kinder way.
