I'm bored so here's another chapter. XD You're welcome. I'm updating so often now that it's probably super annoying. Are you guys even reading this right now? Hoping there aren't many mistakes in it since I was so bored I literally reread this chapter about forty times.

Lyra

I fled through the forbidden forest. Trees and darkness closed in around me, cutting off my air as I suddenly felt claustrophobic.

Slowing down, I felt my ears perk up as I listened to the eerie silence surrounding me.

I had begun to turn back when I heard the running footsteps reaching me. I flung myself forward, hoping to outrun whoever it was. Though I had a fairly good idea who it was, I hoped I was wrong.

My feet crunched against fallen tree branches and leaves crinkled even under my decreased weight. In ten seconds, though it felt a whole lot longer than that, I was thrown onto my back.

In a flash of light from someone's wand, I felt anger pull at my features as my figure turned human once more. My black t-shirt was covered in leaves and dirt from when I was tackled to the ground and my pants were torn in a few places. I looked up and swallowed in distress and shock as I realized who had followed me.

The stag's appearance quickly changed into that of James and he angrily glared down at me as he held me down.

"What the bloody hell is wrong with you, Davi?" He spat at me.

Rage filled me and a low buzzing drummed in my ears. "Get off me!" I began fighting against James, landing a punch on his jaw before I spotted a shadow move from behind him.

In a matter of seconds, Remus was also holding me down, both boys succeeding in a couple of moments. Peter stood behind them, looking afraid.

I stopped struggling, knowing there was no use and my efforts were futile. The two of them were just too strong for me, even against my full strength. Though I supposed I didn't exactly have any adrenaline to help me either.

They weren't here to hurt me. Not without Sirius. But that's what sent my heart beating so fast I thought it might explode out of my chest. They had obviously realized what I had done. And now knew that I was an animagus too.

My breathing quickened, and I thrashed against them as hard as I could, but it still didn't have a big enough effect.

Remus appeared to be quite worried, but I doubted that it was because of me. "Ly-"

"Don't call me that."

Hurt flashed across his face. Things were still incredibly awkward between us obviously, but I was mostly just horribly hurt still.

Impatience crossed James' eyes. He shifted and I took my opportunity, rising to my feet, before he shoved me roughly into the ground. Pain ached through my back. I crawled backwards, away from the furious boy standing in front of me.

"Try and run, Davi. Just try."

I sent him the best glare I could muster through my scorching pain, and bit my lip to keep from crying out. "Came to offer me a friendly welcome, did you, Potter?"

He didn't crack a smile. Not even Remus. Peter just shifted around randomly like the rat he is.

Oh.

Literally.

"How much do you know?"

"I'm sure I know quite a lot. Spells, hexes, muggle knowledge- heck, I even know muggle words for everything." I decided to play dumb for all it was worth. I fake laughed before abruptly changing my expression so it was just as stone faced as before and spoke in an incredibly bored tone. "About what?"
