Hey, Beautiful People!

I have written a lengthy chapter today, and I kindly request all my readers to vote for it to keep me motivated to continue the story. Please feel free to share your suggestions or let me know if there's anything I can improve. I truly appreciate both praise and constructive feedback equally, as it helps me grow as a writer.

Only a few people are voting, and no one has commented on the last two chapters. I feel like stopping my writing because it seems like you may not be enjoying the story.

Aradhana's Pov

"Hold on, Patidev. Your punishment is still pending," I said, crossing my arms and trying to keep a straight face.

Rishabh looked at me with wide, pleading eyes. "Are you serious about this punishment?"

I raised an eyebrow. "Do you think I'm joking about it?"

He sighed, realizing I wasn't going to budge. "Fine," he muttered, his tone half-defeated.

I couldn't help but smirk, but then I dropped the bombshell. "You'll be sleeping on the couch for a week. No hugs. No kisses."

Rishabh's eyes widened in shock. "Aarya, you can't do this to me. I can't sleep without you!"

I turned away, keeping my voice firm despite the twinge in my heart. "I don't know. You'll just have to endure it for ignoring me."

Rishabh just nodded, defeated, grabbing a pillow and blanket as he moved toward the couch with a dramatic sad face. I watched him go, my resolve wavering. I didn't like doing this; it hurt me just as much. It wasn't that I didn't understand why he left, but a part of me still felt neglected and hurt. I just needed him to know that.

Eventually, I slipped into bed, but sleep didn't come easily. I kept thinking of him on the couch, uncomfortable and probably tossing and turning.

The next morning, I woke up early and found him sprawled out awkwardly on the couch, his position anything but comfortable. A pang of guilt hit me. He didn't deserve this. I knew he was doing his best, and I'd been hard on him. Today, I would tell him. At least I'd let him sleep on the bed.

I got ready for the day, pulling on my hot pink tie-dye saree with organza balloon sleeves. I wanted to look bright and put together—especially for Pallavi. She needed all the positive energy she could get. Rishabh was still sleeping when I slipped out of the room and headed to the kitchen.

I busied myself making Pallavi's favorite breakfast, hoping the smell of food would bring some warmth back to the house. Soon enough, Rishabh appeared with Pallavi, both looking a little better than the night before.

I walked up to Pallavi, wrapping her in a gentle hug. "Good morning, Baccha. Come, sit. I made your favorite breakfast," I said, guiding her to the dining table.
