When Cary arrived at Yunmeng, Wei Wuxian was hunting pheasants in the very forest. He had never been a quiet person so he had been joking and teasing his Shidis. His laughter echoed all around the forest. As he walked deeper one of his Shidi pointed out that someone was lying on the forest floor. Hearing this Wei Wuxian had rushed to that lying person. This person happened to be Cary.
Seeing someone unconscious like that, Wei Wuxian’s Shidis panicked, yet he kept calm and checked for her pulse and spiritual flow. Surprisingly, he found that her heartbeat was steady but her spiritual flow was barely present. It was clear that she was exhausted and used too much spiritual energy.
(THE REASON THAT SHE HAS ANY SPIRITUAL ENERGY AT ALL IS BECAUSE SHE AND HER FRIENDS USED TO BELIEVE IN POSITIVE ENERGY AND MEDITATION. THUS, EVEN THOUGH, IN THE MODERN WORLD THEY HAVE NO SPIRITUAL ENERGY, BUT THEY ARE PRETTY STRONG AND HEALTHY. THEIR INJURIES HEAL FASTER TOO. WHEN SHE CAME TO THE WORLD OF CULTIVATION, DUE TO HER MEDITATION SHE HAS QUITE A STRONG GOLDEN CORE. BUT AS SHE HAD TRAVELED SO LONG A LOT OF HER SPIRITUAL ENERGY WAS USED. BUT IT WILL BE BACK TO NORMAL ONCE SHE IS WELL RESTED)
Wei Wuxian decided to carry her to Lotus Pier and have her checked by the physicians there. When she wakes up she can tell them what had happened as she looked pretty worn out.
