i rolled over and stared at the clock and it read 2:15 a.m. gabby's plane leave at 2:45. i quickly got up and grabbed my phone and keys.
i been up all night thinking about her. i could not let her leave mad at me especially since idk when we'll see each other again.
getting into my car i checked her location and drove to the hotel she stayed at. once i got there i walked up to the front counter.
"hi can you tell me what room number gabby williams is in ?" i asked.
"i can't get out that information" she said.
"ik but im her girlfriend" i said showing her a picture of us.
she nodded and typed on her computer.
"room 105" she said smiling.
"thank you so much" i said quickly going to the elevator. i got to her room and knocked 3x before she answered.
her hair was up in a ponytail and she was wearing her glasses.
"jackie what are you doing here ?" she asked.
"i wanted to talk before you leave" i said. she nodded and moved aside to let me in.
"gabby im sorry about how i reacted. yk im happy for you i just couldn't process the fact that your leaving so soon. i didn't even get to spend time with you".
"yk i will always want you to follow your heart. im happy for you and i think this will be good for you baby." i said.
she hugged me tightly making me wrap my arms around her waists.
"im sorry i got so mad at you.. i just wanted you to be proud of me" she mumbled into my shoulder.
"and i am baby. im really proud of you! your following your heart i couldn't be more proud" i said.
"i love you" she whispered.
"i love you more my love" i said.
"im gonna miss you so much" she said as she zipped up her suitcase.
"im gonna miss you baby. but if it makes you happy you gotta go for it" i smiled at her.
"what time is it ??" she asked.
"2:27.. i'll drop you off at the airport" i said.
we grabbed her bags and took them to my car. i put them in the backseat and we got into the front seat.
when we got there it was 2:39 so we had a few minutes. we just took the time to hold each other and spend the last few minutes enjoying each others company.
we got out and i helped her get her stuff out. i sighed and hugged her tightly.
"we're gonna be okay" i said to her.
"you promise ?" she asked through tears.
"omg baby stop.. your gonna make me cry." i said wiping her face.
"it's okay my love. this is gonna be good for you. i promise we're gonna be fine baby. we're gonna call each other everyday"
"i can't wait for you to tell me about it." i said as she buried her face in my neck.
"we're good mama don't cry" i wiping her face.
"i love you" she said.
"i love you more" i said.
we did our little handshake and then shared a kiss. i wiped her face again cus it was red and filled with tears.
"okay i'll text you when i land" she said dragging her suitcase to the plane.
"okay i hope you have a safe flight!" i said.
"thank you" she smiled. she drug her bags to the plane and we waved each other goodbye one more time.
i got into my car and headed home. i have practice later and i have gotten absolutely no sleep but it was worth it.
letting gabby know that i am happy for her and that i love her before she left was all i wanted. i got to watch her leave cus she going to do something so great.
i got home and got into bed. i texted gabby an encouraging message before putting it on the charger and going to sleep.

"omg, it's so beautiful here" i said to my teammate ariel.
"right ?? i can't believe we're doing this" she said making me nod and smile.
i picked up my phone and jackie called so i quickly called her back. i was so happy when it connected cus i miss her already.
"hey beautiful, how's it going ?" she asked.
"it's good. so beautiful here and i love my teammates too" i smiled.
"aww that's good baby. i miss yo clingy ahh but im super proud of you" she said making me giggle.
"i miss you so much more mama" i said.
"OMG HEY GABBY!!! how's turkey ??" syd asked taking jack's phone and propping it up. i could see the whole team in the camera
"hi guys it's amazing. it's so pretty here and everyone is so nice and welcoming" i said.
"that's good we are so happy for you bookie" kelsey said.
"thank you guys" i said.
"when szn over we coming to one of your games so send us the schedule" aja said.
"omg i would love that! but good luck tonight guys! yall got this and yall gone get this 3peat" i said.

"ohh and don't be throwing a** too NOBODY. you don't do that to nb but us" queen said making me laugh.

"hey guys good luck tonight" ariel said sticking her whole face in the camera.
"thank you and good luck to yall too. we coming to a game as soon as season end" tiff said.
"iktr" ariel said making us laugh.
after talking to her team i talked to jack about my flight and how my first practice went.
"we just gotta build that chemistry" i said.
"i understand.. your gonna be amazing my love" she said making me smile.
"thank you and vv baby. imma be watching the game tonight and yall definitely got it! that 3peat most definitely coming" i said.
"thank you baby! and definitely i was in my head sunday but tonight im gonna give em h*ll and ain't nb gone be able to fwm" she said making me hype her up.
"PERIOD WIFEYY" i yelled making her blush.
we talked a little more and i headed back my apartment to shower. i gotta rack up on snacks so that i can watch the aces whoop the liberty period.
