Mayonnaise

I lie about a lot of things
One of them has to be my feelings
I come up with the best punch lines
But it doesn't align with my comic timing
Like I want to say "I love you" instead I'd say something stupid
Show it off as if I'm proud of being passive-aggressive
And you're one hell of a man
Establishing connections on Snapchat
Wasn't that how it started with us?
Lowkey I thought I'd never see you again
Then ended up spending half of the summer nights back and forth texting

Let it be satire till my friends approve of you
Even if that doesn't happen, I'll make that happen soon
Get up or may you stay on your knees
I mean, ketchup or mayonnaise?
What do you prefer in your sandwich?

I saw you one time in December in an oversized biker's jacket
It's a turn-on if you're thinking otherwise just in case
Skinny, so I know it would be good sex
Plus my humour would add to it
Like, I'll call you Dr Doofenshmirtz
Like a ravenous roleplay
You can call me Agent Platypus P
Make me feel so powerless
Doesn't that happen every day?
When I'm defending your ass in front of my friends

Let it be satire till my friends approve of you
Even if that doesn't happen, I'd still go back to that shady alley where we sat next to each other back in June
Barbie, inside out or may you stop smoking weed
I mean Barbeque or mayonnaise?
What do you prefer in your sandwich?

Welcome, I know you're reading this
How was it reading the letter for you
Let it be satire unless your ass will approach me too
And if this clicked your brain
Then I'd mess around with it because when you stumble up on anything Sabrina Carpenter, you'd just think about my face
And if you see me act indifferent
I'd bring up how you planned to smoke weed with my friend
Would you make him a small joint and hold it
While he's holding he's on the other side of the bench
Or would he write his life trajectory while helping you write Amy Dunne's character sketch
And after all this I still try make my friends understand how my emotions and intellect can coexist
