The following morning, the excitement of the previous night still lingered in the air. Bayley and Jade woke up to a barrage of texts from their friends—Becky, Charlotte, and Mercedes—already brainstorming about engagement party themes, bachelorette trips, and dress designs. Jade, still adjusting to the whirlwind pace of Bayley's life, found it both amusing and overwhelming.

Bayley sat at the kitchen table, her phone buzzing every few seconds, while Jade sipped her coffee and glanced over the endless stream of messages.

"Becky's seriously suggesting we get married in Ireland. She's already got three potential venues lined up," Bayley said with a laugh.

Jade shook her head, smiling. "She's not wasting any time, is she?"

"Nope. That's Becky for you," Bayley replied, her fingers flying over the screen as she tried to keep up with the incoming flood of ideas. "Charlotte's going full 'fairy tale wedding' mode. She's got this whole thing planned out in her head already."

"Fairy tale wedding?" Jade raised an eyebrow, setting her coffee cup down. "I thought we were going for something more... low-key."

Bayley leaned back in her chair, still grinning. "We are, but you know how they are. They're just excited."

Jade nodded, the warmth in her chest undeniable. The outpouring of love from Bayley's friends had been more than she expected, and even though the attention made her feel a little out of her element, it was impossible not to appreciate it. Still, she couldn't help but wonder how they were going to balance their desires with the well-meaning ideas of their friends.

"I feel like we need to sit down and figure out what we actually want before we get swept up in all of this," Jade said, looking at Bayley thoughtfully. "I mean, I love your friends, but... this is about us, right?"

Bayley nodded, setting her phone down and giving Jade her full attention. "You're right. We haven't even really talked about what kind of wedding we want."

Jade leaned forward, her fingers tracing the rim of her coffee cup. "What do you think? What kind of wedding do you picture?"

Bayley thought for a moment, her expression turning serious. "Honestly? I don't need anything big or extravagant. I just want something that feels like us. Something personal, with the people we care about most."

Jade smiled softly. "That sounds perfect."

Bayley reached across the table, taking Jade's hand in hers. "How about we figure it out together? We can sit down, make a list of what's important to us, and go from there. No pressure, no rushing."

Jade nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. "I like that plan."

Later that afternoon, they found themselves sprawled out on the living room floor, surrounded by notebooks, magazines, and a laptop. They had spent hours talking about what kind of wedding they wanted—where they might want to have it, who they wanted to invite, and how to make it feel uniquely theirs.

Bayley leaned over one of the magazines, flipping through pages of wedding gowns. "I'm not saying I want a giant ball gown, but... some of these dresses are pretty amazing."

Jade chuckled, glancing over at her. "You'd look great in any of those."

Bayley smirked, her eyes twinkling. "You think so? What about you? What's your style?"

Jade considered for a moment before answering. "I think something simple, elegant. I don't need anything flashy."

Bayley's gaze softened as she looked at her fiancée. "You'd look amazing in anything, too."
