Room 172. The support room for pro-hero Hawks' agency, "The Nest" It was silent as Ryuu Haida pushed open the somewhat heavy metal door leading into the support room. Ryuu was a part of the support group for the Nest agency. He loved heroes, his own mate even being one, but was never interested in being one himself. In his opinion his type of quirk wasn't suitable for being a pro-hero and along with being an omega, it made things harder. Regardless, He was happy to help the heroes by being in the support program. He often helped his mate with his own hero outfit from time to time, giving suggestions for support items and even giving pointers on how to make his outfit more aesthetically pleasing. He couldn't have his mate walking patrol looking mismatched.
He became popular among the pro-heroes working under The Nest thanks to the design of his mate's Hero outfit. Everyone seemed to love the design, the accessories that were tailored to his ink quirk, and even the support items that went with the outfit, all of the details working together in harmony.
Ryuu sighed as he entered the quiet room. It was never quiet there. Mei Hatsume was always making something explode or always running around screaming about some new invention. Saying her new baby was the best yet and everyone needed to marvel in its glory. She was now the head of the support group since Power Loader retired. She was always there working late nights despite Hawks' disapproval. However, she was off on a much needed vacation. Ryuu assumed she was still hard at work designing and coming up with new inventions regardless of the vacation she was required to take. This left him and the other small group of omegas and betas there alone with him in charge for the time being.
It being quiet at 9pm, past time to clock out, meant Izuku was asleep at his desk. Izuku wasn't one to leave at 8 which was the scheduled time to clock out. Instead he, much like Mei, stayed after hours designing whatever their clients requested. Not hearing keyboard keys clacking or the scratch of a digital pen on a pad was a tell-tell sign Izuku was asleep for sure. Ryuu walked to his desk to set down his design folders before making his way to Izukus desk. He crossed his arms and stared down at the omega head down on the desk, giving a hm of disappointment.
The omega's shoulders rose and fell softly, obviously he was peacefully sleeping despite the hard surface of his desk.
"Izuku...come on, Hatsume told you not to sleep here anymore." He sighed at the still fast asleep male."A bed would be more comfyyy" Ryuu drug the last word out in a higher pitch hoping it would wake Izuku. He frowned when it did nothing. He tapped the desk finally getting a response. Izuku brought his head up in a fast jerk. He looked around before locking eyes with Ryuu.
"Ah...did I fall asleep again..." Izuku tried to rub the sleep out of his eyes.
"Heh, yeah. You should really go home instead of staying here all of the time. Hawks is gonna give you an earful"
Izuku ran his fingers through his hair trying to fix how uneven it was from lying on his desk. "I know..I'll head home once I tidy up"
Ryuu gave him a soft laugh. "Alright, I'm finished with my work for today. I only came to drop some stuff off" He stretched his arms over his head in an exaggerated way. "I'll go ahead and head out. Don't stay too long and lock up for me, kay?"
Izuku nodded in response, looking at the mess he left before falling asleep. He decided the mess could wait for tomorrow, he was still so tired. He took the keys Ryuu had set down on his desk before leaning back in his chair. His head rested back against the headrest while he closed his eyes.
Before Izuku could convince himself to get out of his chair and head home for the day he heard the metal door of the room swing open with a loud bang. The sound startled him and he could have sworn he almost hit the ceiling with how hard he had jumped.
Izukus mind was going a hundred miles a minute. Was it a villain? Was it Hawks here to yell at him? Was it Ryuu coming back to tell him to hurry and go? He almost wanted to hide under his desk from the person who entered so loudly. Instead he slumped down in his chair and hoped the person didn't notice him and left.
"Oi! I know someone's here, the door would have been fucking locked otherwise. Come out now before I blow your damn head off."
Izuku was now holding his breath. Who was this person screaming? Patrols ended for evening shift a while ago and night shift patrols had already started. Was he lost? He was pulled from his analysis of the situation from the sound of loud footsteps coming his way. Shit. He should have just gone home earlier.
"What the fuck..." Katsuki swore under his breath as he looked around for whoever was still here this late. He had a bone to pick with his replacement Mei had given him since going on vacation. He needed to chew that asshole out for ignoring his very urgent email about an upgrade to his suit.
Izuku couldn't take the pressure anymore and shot up from his chair, almost falling over in the process. "U-Um hi! I'm... the one still here..uhh-what do you need..?" Why couldn't he talk clearly, that was embarrassing.
Katsuki's head shot in the direction of the voice. He could see green-black hair poking out from behind a monitor. He groaned.
"Where the fuck is my replacement for Hatsume. I emailed them fucking four hours ago." Katsuki had a firm expression on his face, one of pure anger and annoyance.
Izuku moved from his desk to walk towards the foul mouthed alpha. He stuffed the keys Ryuu gave him into his pocket before he made it to look up at the person in front of him.
"Do you remember their name.. I thought Mei had finished her work before taking her vacation?"
Katsuki looked down at the smaller male. He was messing with his hair as if it wasn't supposed to be as messy as it was. He never remembered seeing them around the agency, but he never remembered extras anyway.
He could tell the person in front of him was an omega just by his body type. He was short, even for a guy, had an obvious curve to his waist from his wide hips, and his face had soft features. Omega for sure.
Izuku's round eyes were looking up at Katsuki, waiting for a reply. He almost started to talk again before the alpha responded.
"Fucking..Midoriya something, I don't know."
Izuku felt his heart stop. "O-Oh! That..would actually be me. I'm sorry-I didn't see your email. Mei didn't even tell me she assigned you to me."
Katsuki's eye twitched. This was the guy in charge of his suit? This scrawny fucking guy? Hatsume really loved to screw him over, huh.
"Listen" He spat out, making Izuku jump at the force of his words.
"I have a fucking job to do. I cannot sit and wait for you to fuck around and do whatever the hell you did all day instead of check your emails-"
Katsuki had began to walk towards Izuku, closing the gap between them. He stuck his finger out, jabbing it into Izukus chest.
"You better check your damn email tomorrow, got it, Deku? I'll be damned if I let you make me fall in the ranks."
With that Katsuki whipped his body around and stormed out of the room, leaving Izuku to stand in the middle alone. He could feel the heat rising to his cheeks.
What...was that? He would have remembered Hatsume telling him he was getting assigned a new client. Izuku sighed, bringing his hand to his forehead. He had a lot to do tomorrow.

Tomorrow came, Izuku walked into room 172, his eyes darker than normal. The sleep he got last night was less than ideal considering he kept himself up worrying about his workload. He sat at his desk rolling his chair up to the edge.
"G'morning, sleepyhead!" Ryuu handed Izuku a coffee he previously got from a vending machine outside of the agency.
"I saw you looked a little under the weather today. Don't overwork yourself, kay? Can't have Mei coming back and seeing everyone in bad shape.. she'd never let me be in charge again"
Ryuu gave Izuku a small laugh before walking to his desk to start his own work. Izuku made sure to give him a thank you before turning to his computer. He nervously tapped his fingers against his keyboard, not even pressing down hard enough for the letters to register. He didn't want to open the email. The man he met last night... he wished was just in his dreams.
The alpha was so...loud and angry, it left the omega feeling uneasy. Izuku couldn't help but worry he might do something wrong and make the improvements to the hero's outfit not to his liking. He didn't want them coming back and yelling at him again. Izuku snapped himself out of his thoughts. Who was that? What was his name? He didn't even know who the hero was, having never met him before.
Izuku quickly turned his monitor on and opened his email. There were a couple of unread messages but only two were flagged as important. The bottom was from Hatsume. He clicked on it and sighed. The alpha was right; he missed important emails because he was too busy sleeping.
