What happened. What the fuck just happened. Katsuki had walked out of the building as fast as he could without full on running. He was now leaning against the building. Luckily, he took the back exit so no extra could bother him as he tried to gather his thoughts.

His hand was gripping his chest, his heart beating inside of his ears rapidly. He breathed deeply to try and slow his heart rate. He didn't even let his best friend Kirishima that close unless he had to carry the dumbass away from a villain after getting himself hurt.

He tried to rationalize his feelings. He was only flustered because it had been a while since he was that close to someone... an omega. Yeah, that was it. Why was the nerd blushing then.. His hand was shaking now.

"Fuck!" he could feel sparks forming at the palms of his hands. The night air was cool around his burning face. His own heavy breathing and the sounds of crickets chirping in the night were the only sounds Katsuki could hear other than the beating of his heart. He had to go train he didn't have time for this. With a huff, he pushed himself off the wall and began to walk towards the training grounds. Fuck that clumsy nerd, he couldn't wait for his gauntlets to be finished.

————

Izuku leaned back in his chair staring down at his creation, pretty proud of himself. He had finally finished the upgraded gauntlets for Katsuki. It was almost 10pm. He hadn't been visited by the alpha since last night...since their embarrassing encounter. He stretched giving a sigh of relief at finally being finished. "Might as well tell him they're done.." He mumbled to himself, turning to his keyboard. The room was yet again empty. He hummed to drown out the silence as he began the email.

To: Katsuki Bakugo
From: Izuku Midoriya
Subject: Support Items Finished

Hello, Ground Zero. I have finished your gauntlets. Please be sure to give them a test run before you use them for patrols. If you have any concerns let me know and I can fix anything you see wrong. I will leave the gauntlets at my desk for you tomorrow.

Izuku proof-read the email probably 8 times before sending it. He had the day off tomorrow so he made sure to tidy up his desk and leave the gauntlets in an obvious spot. Hopefully Katsuki found everything easily. He swiftly packed up his things and walked towards the door. He flicked the lights off and locked the door behind him before walking out of the agency and towards home.

————

Katsuki had an awful day. He laid in bed staring up at the ceiling of his apartment. The clock on his nightstand provided a little light to the otherwise dark room. He looked over to look at the time. 11:23. Was that stupid nerd still at the agency?

Katsuki growled at the thought of the omega. He spend all day, all of his patrol shift, all of his lunch break, and the whole drive home thinking of the fucking guy.

Why couldn't he get Izuku out of his head? He groaned and pressed his warm hands against his face. He couldn't bring himself to face Izuku after what happened last night. He had walked in the direction of room 172 around 8:00 that night but found himself standing in front of the door, unable to push it open.

That alone pissed him off and he walked out of the agency and to his car. He contemplated going back to yell at the nerd for making him mad but couldn't get out of his car. He instead just drove home, and here he was, lying in his bed unable to sleep.

————

Katsuki was woken by the sound of his alarm going off. He wanted to throw his phone at the wall, out the window, blow it up, but he didn't want to buy another one..again. He swore, sitting up in bed and turning the alarm off. He groggily stood and walked to the bathroom.

He didn't remember falling asleep but it felt like he didn't even sleep at all. He was exhausted. He began to brush his teeth while flipping through the announcements on the hero app in his phone. There were many headlines about villains and heroes. A lot were gangs being busted and gossip about heroes and their personal lives. "Same shit, different day" he muttered to himself.

He opened his email and saw he had one from the fucking omega. He quickly skimmed through the email. Fucking finally, he couldn't wait to have Hatsume back. She was annoying but far less of a headache than Izuku.

Katsuki spat the toothpaste out and rinsed his mouth. He ran a hand through his messy bed-head before he walked to the kitchen. He stared at the email re-reading it over and over. Noticing that he was obsessing over what was emailed to him he threw his phone down on the table. He was just excited to finally have his upgraded gauntlets...

After cooking a quick meal, he made his way to the agency. He wondered what time he should arrive for the gauntlets. He had always arrived after patrols when the support room was basically empty. He had the day off so he decided he could use the day to get used to the new support items.

He grabbed his keys and walked outside of his apartment. Despite the time, the sun was already shining brightly and Katsuki could tell it would be a hot day. He shut the door to his black car and instantly turned the ac on with an aggravated sigh at the temperature of the inside. He quickly drove off towards the agency.

He walked inside after parking, his walking speed dramatically decreasing the closer he got to room 172. He groaned before pushing the sliding door open. Heads shot up to look at him when he entered the room. He wanted to yell at everyone to keep their eyes to themselves.

Some could possibly notice his annoyed aura as they instantly flipped their heads back down to focus on what they were previously doing. Katsuki walked over to Izuku's desk and didn't see the idiot anywhere. Is he avoiding me?

Katsuki had to stop himself from growling. He didn't want to disturb anyone more than he already had. He pulled out Izuku's seat that was neatly pushed into the desk and sat down. He laid his hands in his lap, his fingers tapping on his thighs as he impatiently waited for the nerd to return to his desk.

Katsuki turned his head as he heard a chair roll to his left. "Hi, Ground Zero! Midoriya has the day off today, do you need something?" A pink haired beta looked at him with confused eyes.

Katsuki huffed. "Yeah, the dumbass told me my gauntlets were finished but I don't fucking see them here"

"Oh! I thought he accidentally left those on his desk. I'm sorry, I put them in the storage! I'll be right back" The beta scurried from her seat and sped to the door at the back of the room.

Katsuki shook his head in annoyance. He took this time to study Izuku's desk. He turned the chair side to side as he looked at the various accessories on the desk. There was a picture of him and Ryuu. It looked like they were at the beach together. There was an origami bunny sitting beside it.

The alpha ignored what was wrote on it, he was focused on the other side of the desk. On the other side there was a green cup stuffed full of small tools and pencils, beside it was a small stack of notebooks.

He reached up and grabbed the first notebook in the stack. He furrowed his eyebrows as he read the cover. "Ground Zero" was etched across the notebook with a little drawing below the words. Katsuki couldn't make out what it was supposed to be. Maybe a dog? What?

He flipped it open. There were sketches of his previous outfits which had notes containing certain color preferences, notes saying what exactly was changed from outfit to outfit, and even his winter suit was sketched out with the same amount of detail. The pages were almost always filled to the brim with words. The fuck?

He continued to flip through the notebook. Page after page of analysis. There was shit in it Katsuki didn't even remember about himself. How much fucking research did this nerd do just to finish some gauntlets? He dropped the notebook down in front of the framed picture before picking up another.

He flipped through the obviously older notebook quicker than the one dedicated to him. huh. There wasn't as much information in this one. Obviously because Katsuki was far more superior than this extra hero.

Katsuki hummed in approval. Of course the idiot would do more research on him, it just meant the gauntlets were gonna be good and not fucking garbage. He would be pissed if they were bad after all the yelling he had to do at the omega.

He dropped the notebook on top of his that still laid in front of the picture. He crossed his arms and tapped his foot, his impatience growing. Finally the beta came back from the room balancing the two gauntlets in her short arms.

"Sorry for the wait! Here they..are" She desperately waited for Katsuki to take them from her, scared she was going to drop them any second.

He snatched them from her and instantly put them on. He flexed his fingers in the gloves and shook his arms a bit, once again getting a feel of the new supports. Finally he could test them out. He quickly turned and started to walk out of the room, completely ignoring the beta.

Only training would not be possible right at that moment. He had practically ran to the training rooms only to be met with a bunch of sidekicks training away. Fuck. He hated training around others, they always asked to spar and he hated being bothered by them. With a growl, he turned and walked back to his car. He'd have to come later.

————

Izuku jiggled his keys into the locked door of room 172. He had given a spare to one of his beta friends in the support program so she could lock and unlock the door for him on his day off but of course he forgot the paperwork for his client he was working with before Katsuki.

He was so caught up with the alphas urgent request that he left this client waiting too long and needed to finish their upgrades asap. Luckily, taking on Katsuki didn't put him too far behind since he only had one other client. He would have kept himself up all night if he hadn't gone to get the paperwork.

He walked into the room, switching the lights on. It didn't take long for him to grab what he needed before he was out of the room, fumbling with the lock again. He finally managed to lock it and was about to start the walk down the hall and out the door when he heard an explosion.

The explosion echoed in the hall, the ground shaking slightly under his feet. He instantly
stopped, looking around. Hatsume wasn't here, there should be no explosions. Her new babies were prone to exploding so explosions were not abnormal for him to hear...but she wasn't here.

He looked back the opposite way down the hall and that's when he saw smoke. It was the training room closest to room 172 and it was smoking.

Izuku dropped what he had originally came to the agency for and ran down the hall towards the training room in question, key still in the door to the support room. He ran into the push-open door at the end of the hall, it opening far too slowly for his liking. He could feel the sting of pain from landing into the door but he ignored it. His eyes were glued to the smoke coming from the training room.

When he finally made it to the room he swung the door open, hand waving in front of his face to try and get the smoke to clear so he could see if anyone was hurt. He coughed, bringing his shirt up to his nose and mouth.

He slowly stepped more into the room, eyes desperately trying to scan the area for anyone. That's when he finally laid eyes on someone lying on the floor in the room. The black suit with orange accents was hard to see but when he finally locked eyes with it he instantly recognized the suit and who it belonged to. After the couple of days of researching he knew exactly who wore a black suit with orange accents. Katsuki Bakugo.

————

Katsuki could hardly contain his anger. He sat on the couch in his living room, his leg bouncing up and down. He wasn't even paying attention to what was currently playing on the T.V, his mind was full of thoughts. Thoughts of just exploding the faces of everyone taking up the training rooms. He was pissed.

He waited so long for the stupid nerd to finish his gauntlets and now he had to wait even longer. He decided on taking a well needed nap to pass the time. He ignored the text from Kirishima asking to hang out since he also had the day off. He wanted to sleep after the night of being unable to sleep peacefully that he had had previously.

So he did just that. He turned the tv off and laid down on the couch, falling asleep momentarily afterwards. He woke up around 5pm. He spent more time finishing up some paperwork from his patrols before he looked at the time. 8:00. Good. Hopefully by now the extras would have gone home.

Katsuki quickly arrived at the agency at 8:27. He quickly changed into his hero outfit, sporting his new support gauntlets. He decided to wear his winter suit to test the sweat storage on the gauntlets. The brisk night air, despite the hot day, was not suitable for maximum sweat production.

He stepped into the empty training room, humming in approval. He had to give the idiot credit for the design on the gauntlets. They were lightweight but still sturdy. He liked them better than his previous gauntlets. After a few quick stretches he began to train and work up sweat.

It didn't take long before he felt himself sweating. He was producing good sized explosions from just his hands. He should wear his winter outfit more often during the summer. He continued to blast the various training dummies with his hands before standing back in the center of the room.

He rolled his shoulders. "Alright, Deku, let's see what you made me" He brought his arm up to point at a dummy opposite to where he was standing. He brought his other hand over to pull the pin on the gauntlet that was on his right arm.

His hand sparked, the sparks traveling up to the gauntlet but then nothing. Katsuki looked down at his arm. "You've got to be fucking kidding me, right?" He twisted his arm to look at the gauntlet in different angles. He sighed, beginning to lower his arm. "Of course, that's what I get for trusting an idio-"

Katsuki hadn't even moved his arm down to rest at his side before the gauntlets ignited and exploded. The room filled with orange-yellow light, blinding Katsuki in the process. He couldn't see anything other than white but he could feel and hear everything.

His body was shoved to the side by the force of the ignition. He caught himself from falling by widely stepping to the side. Shrapnel flew in every direction. A piece flew by his face, he felt his cheek get torn open then the hot spill of blood that followed and ran down to fall on his collarbone.

Other pieces flew to his side, cutting into his suit and his chest. He couldn't feel anything else after that. His arm fell to his side as he took several steps backwards. His ears were ringing. Ringing so incredibly loud. He wanted to move his hands to cover his ears and drown out the sound but they refused to listen to his commands. He didn't even feel himself himself hit the ground with a thud.

He opened his eyes he didn't even know he closed and looked to the side. His vision was blurry. He looked at the arm that once had the upgraded gauntlet on it. Was it red? He couldn't tell. Everything was dark with smoke. He could tell he was fading into unconsciousness. He tried to move the arm still with a gauntlet intact to his pocket for his phone.

He needed someone. He needed help. He needed to move. He needed to get up. He needed his ears to stop ringing. He needed his arm to move so he could call someone. However, his body was lead. The only thing he could feel after falling to the ground was the pain that came in waves over his whole body. His eyes closed without his permission, he needed to stay awake, he needed...

————

Izuku ran over to Katsuki, almost tripping several times over shrapnel that was scattered across the floor. "Katsuki! Bakugo! Wake up! Hello?!" He was on his knees next to the alpha. The shirt he had covered his mouth and nose with had fallen and he was finding it hard to breathe.

No. This couldn't happen. I did this. I did this.. Izuku's mind was going wild, he was panicking. He couldn't panic right now. He shook his head. He put his hands on Katsuki's shoulders and tried to lift him to get him out of the smoke filled room.

Izuku stared in horror as the alpha's head fell backwards, completely limp. no. He gently set him flat on the ground once more despite wanting to drop him and run away. His lungs and eyes were now screaming at him to stop abusing them with the smoky atmosphere.

He bit his lip as he thought for a fast solution. It took a second to get past his panicked thoughts. He dropped his phone at the front of the support room..it would take too long to run and get it, he needed to get Katsuki out of the training room asap. Izuku thought once again before he began to pat Katsuki down. He felt the bulge of his phone in the suit's pants pocket. He fumbled to tear it from the velcro latch before holding the phone out in front of him.

His hands were shaking. He coughed trying to stable his breathing. Looking at the phone, there were notifications from someone named Kirishima...that was Red Riot! Izuku knew him, he was very popular among the community for his chivalrous and manly behavior when it came to others, earning him a high spot in the hero ranks.

He clicked the notification. Luckily, Katsuki's phone was not locked. The messages between the two came up and Izuku quickly tapped the call button and anxiously waited for an answer. As he waited he watched as Katsuki's chest fell and rose with every breath he took.

"Hey, Bakubro! What's up? You finally wanna hang ou-"

"Red Riot! Katsuki had an accident he's hurt really bad and is unconscious, I can't move him by myself. The room is full of smoke I need help now!"

Kirishima didn't bother to ask who was calling instead of his best friend. The tone and scratchy voice on the other end of the phone was more than enough to send the alpha into
fight mode. He was already out the door of his apartment before he responded.

"Call Uraraka, she's on patrol tonight and will be able to get there before I do. She will call backup too- actually I'll call her" The call beeped signaling it ended.

Izuku stared down at the phone in his hands that was now silent. He stared at Katsuki unable to think of another plan. Waiting for help was the best thing he could do. So he waited.

He didn't tear his gaze away from Katsuki's chest, making sure he never stopped breathing. He couldn't risk anything worse happening for his stupid mistakes. He tried to access the injuries Katsuki had. Despite the smoky room, Izuku could make out some details.

He subconsciously brought his hand to Katsuki's cheek. There was a gash starting at his jawline and ending at his cheek bone. Izuku tried to wipe the blood that had redirected to flow down past his ear and into his blonde hair to no avail. The blood continued to flow.

His chest was scratched up but not nearly as bad as his cheek. The thick winter suit luckily reduced the force of the shrapnel. The right arm of the unconscious male was probably the worst off. Izuku watched as blood pooled under where it lay. This wasn't good. He couldn't even see where the blood started, the whole arm was covered in thick red blood.

After what felt like 4 hours, but was actually just 12 minutes, Izuku's head whipped around and he got up to slowly walk towards the sound of footsteps and urgent voices. His mind was blank.

A hero dressed in pink came running into the building. Her face scrunched up once she was in the middle of the smoke cloud. "Where- is he" she said between coughs.

Izuku grabbed her arm and drug her to where Katsuki was lying. She instantly touched his shoulder, activating her quirk. Izuku watched as she lifted Katsuki off of the ground with ease. Blood dripped from his arm plopping onto the ground he was once lying on.

His head, once again, fell back. completely limp. A wave of guilt rushed over Izuku, he moved to support the Alphas head but was cut off by Uraraka doing so before he could. She quickly walked towards the door pulling Katsuki along with her.

Izuku followed slowly behind afraid of getting too close. There was an ambulance waiting, he didn't even hear them pull up. He watched as the back doors swung open as people reached out to grab the alpha. Just like that, Uraraka stepped into the van and it sped off, sirens blaring.

Izuku felt his skin tighten with the dried blood. He stared down at his hands before plopping down into the ground, completely defeated. He once again heard footsteps running towards him.

"Where's Bakugo?" Izuku watched Kirishima stop in front of him hunching over, his hands on his knees as he tried to catch his breath.

"They...took him already." Kirishima looked down at the smaller male covered in blood. His eyes softened and he held out his hand.

"Come on, you need medical attention too Thank you for calling me." Izuku took the hand and stood up with the alpha, unable to say anything.

————

Katsuki opened his eyes, met with bright fluorescent lights. He quickly shut his eyes again. He had an awful fucking headache. It took him a moment to realize why he was even in a hospital bed. The moment he did he shot straight up and started to rip all of the IVs out of him so he could go to room 172 and kill a certain omega.

"Woah Woah, Bakugo!" He shot his head around towards the voice.
